Wrong. Hell is an eternal punishment and not an eternal punishing, according to the Bible.

    I don't follow you.

What's the difference? What happens to people who practice gay sex after they die?

First, you're making an implication that isn't there: The dude doesn't ask them if "they agree with muslim terrorism". That's you saying and it's inaccurate.

Second, your signature gives an insight that you appreciate simple metaphors to explain the world. Your endorsement of "if the Sahara was ruled by the Federal Government there would be a shortage of sand" is an over-simplification akin to those used by religious people to explain the world. If we try to take inferences from that to the real world (not the metaphorical, imagined one), what go could wrong?

    So basically, this video says
    > "are you all normal muslims?"
    -- ALL say Yes.
    > "How many of you agree that whatever punishment FROM ALLAH or his MESSENGER is the "best punishment" available"?
    -- ALL say Yes.

There is absolutely NOTHING about terrorism here. Saying that any punishment that "allah" dishes out my be "the best" has nothing to do with terrorism. Attrocities that terrorism do have nothing to with allah dishing out punishment in stories in the koran.

Practically every Muslim I've ever been mates with has disagreed with it. Now, this is of course anecdotal, but it seems unlikely that I have coincidentally bumped into the least representative sample of the group possible.

You're talking about 20% of humanity. Generalizations with such a broad group are most always inaccurate. Even putting aside that non-Sunni Muslims are categorically opposed to ISIS and this will never change, that's still a damn enormous group. Heck, even just Sunnis in Iraq and Syria is an unjustifiable generalization.

But none of this is relevant to the populist. You can't easily tell apart different Muslim denominations by image, so they have no interest in the distinction.

Right... the "Taqiya" argument. Care to provide a Koranic verse that endorses lying? If anything, the Koran and other Islamic texts are vehemently opposed to it.

I said a Koranic verse that permits LYING, period, not special circumstances such as saving lives, bringing peace, persuasion of women to reconcile with their husbands, or on the occasion of a journey or expedition.

It shows that they are allowed to lie under certain circumstances. Ones that can be used to lie about their religion to save their lives. It means you cant believe them. Lying to make peace? We will let you all go if you make peace, then cut off the heads of those who will not convert. Is that an acceptable lie?

When they are forced to convert to another religion, they can lie. Still, that is in certain schools of thought within some sects of Islam. Most Sunnis will tell you that lying is forbidden in all circumstances except for the greater good. And there is no compulsion in religion.

Its said they can lie to make peace. So can they lie and say they will set you free if you make peace with them or are they still free to then kill you? Looks to me they are still free to kill you. They were only lying to make peace and save Muslim lives.

Who decides what is for the greater good?

Is there no compulsion in submission?

Even then it's a controversial topic. Muslims are NOT free to kill innocents.

Good question. It is the courts who decide that.

There is no compulsion in Islam.

That depends on what Muslim you are speaking with

    Sharia Courts?

You are being com pulsed to submit to the will of Allah. Once you submit all you have left is compulsion

Again, this is probably why you seldom see American muslims speak out about muslim terrorism.
They may not all indulge, but obviously many condone it, hardly a generalization.

    Come again!

"The Quran contains at least 109 verses that call Muslims to war with nonbelievers for the sake of Islamic rule. Some are quite graphic, with commands to chop off heads and fingers and kill infidels wherever they may be hiding. Muslims who do not join the fight are called 'hypocrites' and warned that Allah will send them to Hell if they do not join the slaughter.

Unlike nearly all of the Old Testament verses of violence, the verses of violence in the Quran are mostly open-ended, meaning that they are not restrained by the historical context of the surrounding text. They are part of the eternal, unchanging word of Allah, and just as relevant or subject to interpretation as anything else in the Quran.

The context of violent passages is more ambiguous than might be expected of a perfect book from a loving God; however this works both ways. Most of today's Muslims exercise a personal choice to interpret their holy book's call to arms according to their own moral preconceptions about justifiable violence. Apologists cater to their preferences with tenuous arguments that gloss over historical fact and generally do not stand up to scrutiny. Still, it is important to note that the problem is not bad people, but bad ideology.

Unfortunately, there are very few verses of tolerance and peace to abrogate or even balance out the many that call for nonbelievers to be fought and subdued until they either accept humiliation, convert to Islam, or are killed. Muhammad's own martial legacy - and that of his companions - along with the remarkable stress on violence found in the Quran have produced a trail of blood and tears across world history." http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/quran/023-violence.htm

Most Muslims will tell you that violence against non-Muslims is unwarranted except if the violence was committed first by the non-Muslim, or even Muslim, party.

Whichever court is the authority. In most Muslim majority nations, they will favor Sharia Law, but otherwise they don't.

Koran [2:256] - "There is no compulsion in religion, for right has distinguished itself from wrong". Nonetheless, the vast majority of Muslims support religious freedom.

Can you do better than that bigoted website?

I am saying no such thing, that's you watching the video and coming to your own conclusion.
My contention is, you seldom see American muslims speak out against it.

And it's even more rare to find you lefties standing up for Christians like you do for muslims, imagine that!

Unfortunately, despite all the information on Muslims many still refuse to believe it....preferring to believe the media and their talking heads and our pathetic politicians.

In the future (whatever one there may be) the histories written about our times will likely stress how our era, ironically called the “information age,” was not an age when people were so well informed, but rather an age when disinformation was so widespread and unquestioned that generations of people lived in bubbles of alternate realities—till they were finally popped.

Liberals always try and discredit a source that delivers a message they do not like....yet they find no problem with msnbc, abc or CBS....such hypocrisy.

No. What I'm claiming is that those verses are taken out of historical and overall context. The gestalt of the Koran is that fighting is only permissible if you are being fought against. If you take snippets here and there, of course it's going to sound violent.

Speaking of bigots, please show me some posts you've made defending Christians! Nuff said.
