Economists have been predicting for years that we were due for and heading for a recession.

It seemed that Trump's tax cuts may have stalled it for a while, and then hope of a China/USA trade deal helped more.

but now, the china-USA trade deal looks dead in the water, we have applied hundreds of billions dollars of tarriffs on China, and China is doing the same back.

oil is now above $60 due to Trump's Iran failure.

seems like the Trump Recession is coming. How will you deal with it?

will it ensure Trump loses in 2020?

any Democrat candidate who says they will immediately end the trade war if they win, will surely defeat Trump if the Recession is a bad one.

Liberals will cheer on a recession.

    It's their only hope.

You all have reached the new low of blurting out fantasies to see if anything will stick. Desperation is ugly and you wear it well.

The only way Trump can win now, is with a major crisis.

People are borrowing and spending, that's what happens in a booming economy....you can't blame him for the student loan debt, Obama and the Dems own that when they had the federal govt take over the student loan business.

We don't have record deficits...we aren't anywhere close to the levels created by the Obama Admin and a Dem Congress

Stay away from sharp objects. The next report on GDP is due 6/27 and is expected to match the last Quarterly report, 3.2% rate of increase. This despite Democrats' treasonous attempt to weaken Trump's negotiating position with China, and Nadler's work toward emboldening Iran to spread terror across the ME and put them back on a path to a nuclear missile.

So you are celebrating Trump's failures. If one pays attention to the stock markets, one knows that the Dow steadily rose throughout Obama's presidency, after having been in free fall at the end of the Bush's incompetent presidency. Once the Republican tax cuts kicked in, the stock markets have mostly stagnated.

Who doesn't recall how Obama bailed out Wall Street, and left Main Street with double digit unemployment. The Dems had to pay back their donor class...we all know that.

Democrats always try to dump the economy to remind folks who "effective" their socialism is... Why? Can't democrats compete in a world of success? Seems not. So, democrats attempt to throw the economic levers to demand we have a recession. The liberal economists have all been uniformly "predicting" this for the last couple years. Why? They believe in the meme that voters will vote for them to cure the economic problems. And, as we've seen time and again, these' little fluctuations are strategically timed to effect national elections. wonders... huh...

Nah, I had nothing to do with AIG and Lehman Brothers. My money was just fine, and what I had in the market would have bounced back once the GOP took Congress, like well it has.

That sums it up pretty well. The market broke out of a long base in anticipation of the tax cut and has gone sideways for the last 16 months. The valuation of S&P earnings has come down since last Monday over fear of an earlier global slowdown caused by Don's tariffs.
The market still thinks a deal will be made but is pricing in more risk and the damage done while negotiations continue.

Individual 1 understands that while the minions have been convinced a finding of obstruction wasn't a finding of obstruction he will not be able to con people if GDP turns negative. That argues for a trade deal if one without the teeth on intellectual property theft and unfair biz practices we've been promised.

Did you miss the part where during Bush's second term of his incompetent presidency, there was a net loss of jobs. Only Hoover has fared worse.
