Correct. There are right wingers that scour these forums, and if you use an adjective, or say things NOT TO THEM, but about the subject in general, they report you. I have been told that by them personally. They think that is WINNING the argument.

Well it’s true. We have an entire population who believe the south went to war in defense of slavery when it’s easily demonstrable that they went to war in defense of the constitution.

People, rightfully so, believe slavery was an issue for going to war....because it was. To deny this gets you automatically dismissed from further discussion as I have learned to not waste my time with people who try to make up their own facts.

 

I can agree that many things are honestly debatable because of the wide way people look at things and their values. They can all be good values too, and that is still true.
At the same time, many things just aren't suited to individual definition. While it's not a subject here- consider pregnancy. There is no partial, it's yes or no.

Do people who call Trump incompetent think the record low unemployment numbers aren't true? The record market and economics we have seen weren't real?
They must, and in order to do so they must think that what they think alters the reality- the truth. Not the fractional details, but the overall scores on things that exceed past records.
It's kind of like saying Secretariat wasn't really a good horse, and winning the third leg of the triple crown by 31 lengths was not relevant to performance.
You have to warp reality in your mind to do that.

 

Your first example of pregnancy is flawed. There is what in technical terms is called pseudocyesis, or phantom pregnancies.

As to you trying to equivocate Trump's unemployment numbers to some success (even though now it is truly a moot point), surely there must be some piece of legislation he has enacted to cause that, no? I mean, if those unemployment numbers prior to this year were a direct result of something that Trump did, surely the economists would tout that rather than saying it's a carryover from the previous admin, right?

China's economic power has become the largest threat, not only to the U.S., but to the free world and countries which may hope to become free. China is a foe and an enemy, looking to take over and dominate the world with it's oppressive Communist regime. A Biden presidency will assist China and further harm the U.S. economically, judging from his and previously administrations' (on both D & R side) prior voting history going back to Clinton.

I am not a white nationalist, but an advocate of multiculturalism when we choose which immigrants will add value to the country and disallow those who will be a lifetime burden.

Always looking for a way to dispute- and that is precisely the point I was making. A "phantom pregnancy" IS NOT a pregnancy at all, is it? It may manifest some symptoms, but there is not embryo. A man in a bear suit may look like a bear, but is in fact, in truth, NOT a bear- and the phantom pregnancy IS NOT a state of pregnancy.
But you choose to throw that out as some sort of alternate half truth.... to question if anything is truth. Then you wonder why you aren't taken as being truthful.
