Contrary to the lies of the right wing television talebangelist propagandists, the USA was NOT founded as a Christian nation.

Please, try to treat everyone fairly. This means holding every leader to the same standard that a white Christian Westerner is held to.

All Native Americans had political systems without courts of law, slavery, no democracy and very little in the way of human rights. These indians leaders should have known better.

Other leaders during this time period include Robespierre, a leader of the French Revolution that detested religion. Having thousands arrested and put to death upon his paranold beliefs, he the the prototypical Socialist. The model that both Lenin and Obama morphed from.

We can't be colorblind here. What about Jean Jauques Dessalines, the black revolutionary leader in Haiti who after coming to power in 1803, killed off or exiled every non-black citizen. The leaders that followed him after murdering him enslaved the poor to build a super-fortress. These acts of genocide and slavery arn't mentioned much, for some reason in classrooms.

Compared to all other national leaders of the day, they all fall short of George Washington.

 

The United States was founded that people have the freedom to worship but no establishment of a Religion.
