    Huh?

    Double huh.

    Aw, this is too funny.

It wasn’t just Joe Biden calling for his ouster, it was the United States government and the European Union. Biden was the vice president. He couldn't do a damn thing.

Then we have Trump. You don't want to talk about him, but Trump is what this is all about.

The whistleblower’s complaint involves Trump and alleges that he made some kind of a “promise” to a foreign leader. We then learned that the complaint involves Ukraine and the possible use of official government resources ($250 million in military aid) for personal gain.. We learned Trump had pressured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a July 25 call to launch an investigation involving the Bidens. (The Wall Street Journal first reported that and said Trump pressed Zelensky on the matter about eight times)."

Politico reported in an August 28 article, "The Trump administration is slow-walking $250 million in military assistance to Ukraine, annoying lawmakers and advocates who argue the funding is critical to keeping Russia at bay."

Trump maintains his innocence, of course. First, he says, “It doesn’t matter what I discussed,” when it matters a great deal what was discussed. Then he said his phone call with President Zelensky had been “a beautiful conversation."

All of which begs a question. If Trump is innocent, why is he hiding? I want you to answer that question.

If it was just a “a beautiful conversation," why not the transcript of the conversation over to Congress? Answer that one, too.

Acting Director of National Intelligence Maguire has refused to share the whistleblower complaint with Congress as required by law, and the White House Office of Legal Counsel has been involved in efforts to keep it from Congress.

Trump's personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, insisted to CNN’s Chris Cuomo that he didn’t ask Ukrainian officials to investigate Biden — but then, less than 30 seconds later, did a complete about-face and admitted that “of course” he did just that.

The story about the whistleblower complaint broke last week. You sound like someone who voted for Trump.

    Ukrainian, actually.
I don’t hide the fact that I was born in Ukraine and am a citizen of the US. I earn a 6 digit salary and get to vote too. Do you have a problem with that?

    Is that directed at me?
Then you are wrong. First of all, I hate Russians and I have a pretty good record here. Second of all, I work for a legitimate company in Illinois.

During the Cold War manyU.S. Navy surface warships had tactical nuclear weapons aboard.

After we won the Cold War most of these nuclear tactical weapons were removed from surface ships and put in storage around the country at U.S. Naval Weapons Stations to be able to quickly be put aboard ships if needed.

During the 1980's even the four Iowas class battleships had nuclear Tomahawk missiles aboard the ship.

During the 1950's they had 16" gun tactical nuclear rounds that were able to be fired from the Iowa class battleships 16" guns.

Remember when destroyers had nuclear ASW ASROC's and nuclear ASW 12.75" torpedoes and when aircraft carriers went to sea during the Cold War with nuclear bombs aboard for it's aircraft.

What Obama did was to take the U.S. Navy out of the tactical nuclear war business by denuking the Navy's nuclear weapons that were in storage.

I agree they should've done this after Biden won the primary. So that tells me one of two things either Trump is so impulsive that he can't stop himself from waiting for a critical hit or He fears Biden and none of the other candidates. Still though best move would've been to wait imo

But here's the the problem if Trump withholding Funding is a crime then Biden withholding Funding would've been too right?

Time reports, "Trump told reporters that the July 25 call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy was “congratulatory” and focused on corruption in the East European nation. In his remarks to reporters, he then raised Biden as an example, although there is no evidence of wrongdoing by Biden or his son Hunter, who was on the board of a Ukrainian gas company."

Then Trump made a serious mistake. Once again, his big mouth and monstrous ego caused him to be his own worst enemy. He just had to tell reporters he was responsible for withholding evidence of a felony from Congress.

Politico writes, “We’ll make a determination about how to release it, releasing it, saying what we said,” the president told reporters in Houston. “It was an absolutely perfect conversation. The problem is, when you’re speaking to foreign leaders, you don’t want foreign leaders to feel that they shouldn’t be speaking openly and good. … You want them to be able to express themselves without knowing that not every single word is going to be going out and going out all over the world.”

Of course, Trump realizes this is a unique situation. The President of the United States once again asked a foreign power to interfere in our Presidential election on his behalf, and he withheld military aid to Ukraine to provide an inducement.

Ordinarily, Trump gets someone else to do his dirty work, and there is no tape, no documentation of his involvement. This time he blabbed, and he did so to the American people.

Trump used the power of his office to tell the acting DNI to break the law, and he just admitted it. "We’ll make a determination about how to release it."

Of course, we all know there is no "we" about it. He will decide whether or not to release it.

Essentially, Trump told the American people he broke the law.

The law states that if the I.G. determines that a whistleblower complaint is credible and urgent, the DNI must report it to the House intell committee within seven days.

If the complaint meets that standard, the inspector general is to forward it to the director of national intelligence. The law says that within seven days of receiving the complaint, the director in turn shall forward the material to the House and Senate intelligence oversight committees.

Maybe Putin told Obama to do it ?

For eight years Obama always gave Putin what he wanted with nothing in exchange.

Vladimir Putin is a master on the geopolitical chessboard while Obama played chinese checkers.

No reaction from Trump's supporters. So, I will. After my profound analysis, I guess Trump's fans were rendered speechless.

“The final key to the way I promote is bravado, Trump said, explaining truthful hyperbole. "I play to people’s fantasies. People may not always think big themselves, but they can still get very excited by those who do. That’s why a little hyperbole never hurts. People want to believe that something is the biggest and the greatest and the most spectacular. I call it truthful hyperbole. It’s an innocent form of exaggeration—and a very effective form of promotion.”

Trump thinks of himself as an emperor. He doesn't feel he has to answer to the American people.

Questioned Thursday about conversations with Ukraine, and about whether he spoke about former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Trump deflected.

"It doesn't matter what I discussed," Trump said. "But I will say this: somebody ought to look into Joe Biden's statement, because it was disgraceful."

"I didn't pressure Ukraine, but I could have."

“If a Republican ever did what Joe Biden did, if a Republican ever said what Joe Biden said, they’d be getting the electric chair by right now,” Trump said. Now that is funny. Sometimes Trump gets a little carried away with this truthful hyperbole stuff.

Trump has never explained what Joe Biden did wrong. Trump has never explained what Hunter Biden did wrong. Trump's closest advisors have never explained what the Bidens did wrong. The White House has never explained what the Bidens did wrong.

Trump wanted Hunter Biden investigated. Trump's supporters on this thread cannot tell me what Hunter did wrong.

We all know what Trump did wrong and why he is trying to divert attention to the Bidens. Trump asked a foreign government to interfere in our Presidential election on his behalf and used military aid as an inducement. Trump has virtually admitted it.

Then why didn’t the Congress put that as a condition when it authorized the aid package?
