You are spouting a bunch of false nonsense - and projecting your issues onto others.

You didn't answer the question - The answer is that McDonalds did not build it. Not rocket science - except apparently to you.

The sum of your posts to this forum are what is commonly referred to as a null set. Congrats.

McDonalds built it, and every business on every street built it, their employees' wages built it, that covers the vast majority of it.

It's OK, though, we will let you free-ride on our property for next to free, because I'm pretty sure you and yours didn't build it.

Some folks believe that humans will destroy themselves/eachother if they're free to do so. Hard to blame em, considering history.

The problem they won't recognize is that any control we allow over us will innevitably be held by those that do the bulk of the destroying.

So Im with ya. I'll die fighting before I hand my Will over to anyone. Those that seek it cannot ever be trusted with it.

In looking at my deed and property tax bill, landowners and businesses most definitely did pay for building the roads as well as giving a right of way for that road.

When Democrats politicize over 200,000 deaths from a virus that a sitting President in no way shape or form was going to be able to stop from entering the country, yeah that's a bit 'unAmerican.'

Indeed Landowners and Businesses - and everyone else who pays taxes in any way shape or form - paid for the road. McDonald's didn't.

The question of whether or not McD pays their fair share - is a separate conversation - that you are desperately trying to move the goal posts to - and you would lose that one as well.

For now - the question is if McDonald's paid for the roads - and the answer is no - .. perhaps they paid a very tiny pittance towards the pot - in relative terms - but someone else paid for the rest.

Its a fairly straightforward concept - you need to pool money into the collective to get certain things done - roads is one of them .. it is in all of our collective interest . To say that my small business - or McDonalds large business - does not benefit from roads - infrastructure - garbage - police - would be lying to myself.

So lets try to shoot the arrows a bit straighter - which is kind of what you were trying to do with the second question.

We all have to put in - but frankly - I don't want to be subsidizing McDonalds - which is currently the case .. in case you havn't looked at your property tax bill lately.

or at least that is my claim - which I assure you I can back up. What is your claim ? do you think McD pays its fair share ? and why.

And no trouble paying in the money that funded it.
So you are suggesting that the left won't cash theirs..... Right?

There were roads before he got there - without which - it would be a mom and pop burger stand that you saddled up to with your horse. Good that his business generated some tax revenue - which paid into keeping the roads maintained - same as the rest of us.

Do you think McDonalds uses the roads a bit more than average Joe ? and did you factor that into your equation. Say in comparison to locally owned burger joint - and in comparison to someone who works in a factory down the road.

If that is the case you should be able to provide quotes where they have stated they want the tax rate at 90%.

Please post a quote and link of them proposing that level of taxation.

    I doubt you'll find it

What they DID...was point to that number to illustrate that the rich have been taxed far more heavily in the past and were STILL ...rich

Yep and it was horrible economically then and it's worse now. Even seventy percent is counter productive on all fronts doing little more than making Americans and America poorer. We got away with it in the fifties because we were the only game in town. By the sixties it was clear that it was destroying our economy when JFK dropped tax rates from a top of ninety percent that by the way never collected a dime since the only people affected by it left the country to fifty percent. Johnson in order to try to find the great society and the Vietnam War and the seventies were economically the staggering seventies and would have been much worse had Nixon not ended the Vietnam War and signed off on the first US budget in Which less than half went to the armed forces.

In the end sir the negative effects of confiscatory tax policy are senn not in the damage they do to the rich but in a lack of opportunity for the poor.

In fact I doubt Mc Donald's spend much more time on the roads than you average family of four certainly less than all the people driving there to buy those billions of burgers every year
