The last two years the Pittsburge Pirates got off to a hot start and looked like they were going to be a playoff contender in in the middle of july but both times,after the all star break,they fizzled out and went on a losing streak the second half and could not finish with a winning season both times. Think this will be the year they will break out and avoid it? I think they will because at this point last season,they were only like 10 games over 500 at the most and started their downfall immediately after the all star break both times.this time however,they are 20 games over 500 and are still winning games and have not folded. Thats why I think this year is different.anybody disagree? if so,please state why.thanks. __________________
They are going all the way and are going to win the World Series. Now I just have to wait for my other teams the Raiders/Buccaneers to get their acts together and win the Superbowl.

I hope they win the Central. Now that we're not division rivals anymore, I'd really like to see them do something good. It's been too long. They were a good team when I was a kid. Back in the Barry Bonds / Andy Van Slyke days. And I think they've finally got a good core group of guys now. McCutcheon's a boss.
wow,looks like the discussion going on now is nbot the question of will they have a winning seaosn finally,but will they win the division which they have an excellent shot of now.
