It's not a country and never will be. Iraq is random lines on a map. The only way it will EVER be anything close to "united" is under a despotic dictator.

More should have been used. Sometimes, 50 kilotons are the right tool for the job.

What “beacon of light" did America shine on 'Operation TP Ajax' when it specifically and intentionally destroyed Iran's Democratic government or when it illegally invaded, raped, tortured and murdered innocent men, women, and children in Irak? You don't mean a “beacon of light”. No, you mean a “flash of light” in the form of nuclear bombs over Hiroshima and Nagasaki ….. but no light shining on U.S. destruction of Democracy and U.S. war crimes and crimes against humanity - as its' prosecution against Wikileaks and Julian Assange can attest.

No one is asking you to, nor do I. What I CAN imagine is a world that is not controlled by the United Snakes … a world with a chance at peace.

You have apparently been 'humiliated'. I don't think narcissists like that.

Trump promises to make Iran pay very big price for the people of Iraq protesting US killing on their soil.

Meanwhile Australia is in flames. It is time for these adolescent lunatics who are running the world with lethal temper tantrums to grow up and develop some sanity. This world requires us all to work together for our survival. Put the childish games away.

An ultimatum is not a request for permission. What took place was a military invasion and those generally end when the invading force decides to leave. Obama decided to leave.

The "ultimatum" (as you call it) was from the UN. Namely:
    1. The destruction of WMD's (which Irak did)

    .... and ....

    2. An inspection of sights, the location of which the U.S. claimed had been proved to contain live WMD's (an inspection did take place and no WMD's were found).

Permission (to invade) was what the UN could have granted the U.S. had Irak not abided by the UN "ultimatum" with regards to both the destruction of WMD and the proof of it as determined by the UN inspection team.

Saddam complied and was therefore exonerated .... the U.S. did not comply as was, therefore, guilty of a war crime and crimes against humanity.

If you can't keep me out of your house you probably can't kick me out if I decide to stay a while either.

    Ahhh, the UN. I see.

I really do want to be a believer in Trump's good intentions and good actions. So far I haven't seen it. He pardons war criminals, he brings shame and embarrassment to the country, and more.

Yes, he is certainly being framed in the impeachment fiasco, but he has not made America great again. Probably unintentionally, he has made matters worse.

He can't put his $ where his loud mouth is. Somebody should take his twitter device away from him. I guess more than anything, he is a sign of the times.

    No ...
Experts estimate that more than one million people were to be killed if Japan did not surrender and continued to fight brutally against the peoples of the region.
So the Atomic bombs saved lives.
    And that's a FACT .

    No, that is a theory.

The fact is that if the bombs had not been dropped, fewer people would have died.

The atomic bomb is the definition of WMD, ie. mass killing.

    You're a funny guy.

So …. criminals should run free? Even it's your house they invade, ransack and murder your family members?

No nation should "control the world". Each nation ought to be run by Democratic principles. I believe Democracy is the best political philosophy that has ever been “invented”.

The American military is not 'criminals'. When they are deployed it is generally to stop criminals from running free.

The atomic bombs saved American lives and that is an undisputable fact. That it also saved Japanese lives was a side benefit.

I think we can move forward to the point we agree there will always be strong countries and weaker ones and the strong will not always be nice to the weak and.....we're back to superpowers and where we are now, democracy or the rule of the ppl is by no way guarantee to justice. I don't think we as humans can be both free and just...

The U.S. has not been authorized to conduct military invasion since Korea. That means that every nation the U.S. has invaded, attacked, occupied since 1950 has been illegal .... that means "criminal" in layman terms. If you need help tallying them up just let me know and I'll give you a hand. You can start with Iran and Cuba ........

It is not only disputable but pure and unadulterated bullshyt.

No, I'm simply telling you the truth. Something it looks as if those who educated you failed to do.

Authorized by whom? Are you back on that UN crap?

    GD that awful Trump! ;-)

"This divergence is evident in wage gains for the top and bottom quartiles of the labor force. While the early part of the expansion was defined by faster wage gains for the top earners, in 2015 it flipped. The bottom earners have been leading ever since, with very strong increases of ***4.4%*** annually."
