Nope, not at all. I also did not miss the part about "but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized". If the Government felt they met those requirements, then I have no problems with them "spying" on Carter Page.

However, again, I fail to see what Carter Page has to do with Trump's tax returns.....or did you just feel like talking about Carter Page for awhile.

    SHALL NOT BE VIOLATED....

It's sad this has to be explained to Leftists, but they have become tyrants in their aspirations to negate an election.

A Treasury Department (IRS) audit is for cause, or reason. Congress has no reason, other than an attempt to unseat a duly elected president. To date Congress have stated nothing that would give them a right to seize and search his papers. This is simple tyranny, which apparently far too many on the Left support blindly... because .... ideology!!!

The president is audited every year, without cause or reason. Violation?
Congress was told under oath by the presidents personal lawyer that they needed his returns.

He's not hiding anything. The IRS has full access. He is simply not forfeiting his Constitutional Rights against unreasonable Search and Seizure. It would be a horrible precedent to set. It would open up attacks on political opponents for years to come. Trump does the nation a favor in telling these little tyrant wannabe Democrats to go F themselves.

He's ENFORCING the law. :roflol: Congress has no reason, no cause for illicitly obtaining Trump's tax returns, simply for the purpose of a fishing expedition. :frustrated::roflol:

Hide? The President of the United States is not obligated under any law to disclose his tax returns. Try to keep up.

I don’t think it’s a bad idea to let the courts review this. Fair point.
You elected a guy who campaigned on and regularly calls for his opponents to be investigated. So save the fake tyranny concerns lol

Perjury for lying on trumps behalf about his business dealings. Good point! Even more reason to see his taxes!

Don't worry, I won't and I never have. The IRS certainly needs oversight. However, the request by Neal is not oversight....and there is little doubt in my mind that you are savvy enough to know that. This is a Democrat Congressman using his position of authority to look for dirt on a political rival and disguising it as IRS oversight.
