If the Government felt they met those requirements, then I have no problems with them "spying" on Carter Page.

It's sad this has to be explained to Leftists, but they have become tyrants in their aspirations to negate an election.

A Treasury Department (IRS) audit is for cause, or reason. Congress has no reason, other than an attempt to unseat a duly elected president. To date Congress have stated nothing that would give them a right to seize and search his papers. This is simple tyranny, which apparently far too many on the Left support blindly... because .... ideology!!!

He's not hiding anything. The IRS has full access. He is simply not forfeiting his Constitutional Rights against unreasonable Search and Seizure. It would be a horrible precedent to set. Don't worry, I won't and I never have. The IRS certainly needs oversight. However, the request by Neal is not oversight....and there is little doubt in my mind that you are savvy enough to know that. This is a Democrat Congressman using his position of authority to look for dirt on a political rival and disguising it as IRS oversight.
