ROFL yes we all believed Bragg would bring a case he would have to testify to. He mist certainly did not. Why should he testify NOW?

What does he need to testify to to insure a not guilty verdict where does Bragg hace him.

Trump could take the stand and, if he really believes he did nothing wrong, tell his version of the truth, that he knew nothing about the payments to Stormy or the other woman, that Cohen is lying, that the business records aren't falsified. I would if I really were innocent and in his position.
Problem is that, deep down inside, Trump knows he did most of the stuff they accuse him of, so he won't testify under oath but get on truth social and hold rallies where he rails against his perceived oppressors. He doesn't have the gonads to take the stand.

 

And we all thought there woukd be something ANYTHING in Braggs case to refute. In the end nothing nada zip. To what should he testified to what does he need to refute?

 

He never claimed to know nothing about them and the prosecution already established he didn't. Nothing Cohen uttered can be taken as truthful Trump has NO need to refute him. You would not because your attorney would tell you you have no need to especially with a DA who only wants to ask salicious questions which are totally immaterial to the charges and a judge who has demonstrated he wiukd allow them.

 

I don't buy that excuse. Trump could bring out much of what he whines about at rallies and press conferences, but he won't, because he knows deep down he doesn't have the intestinal fortitude and honesty that would be required to take the stand.
How many times, in all the years and thousands of court actions, has Trump actually testified?

 

He became aware Bragg had brought no case he needs to testify against. Really quite simple. And yes it would be just like Bragg to make up a perjury to keep him further off the campaign trail.

 

HE DOESN'T NEED TO. This trial is about how the payments were recoded in the books. Trump had nothing to do with it according to the PROSECUTION'S OWN WITNESSES.

 

He would run the risk of lying under oath. Making the situation even worse for him. "His version of the truth" is just that.......HIS version.
