An obvious implication of my post is that I'm the very opposite of a "Trumper." I'm also very uncomfortable with the way that liberals are wrapping themselves in the flag and cozying up to our martial elements. Oh no, it's a very real process that has been occurring since the ascension of Obama and especially Trump. The New York times has warmed up significantly to the neocon element, and we get morons on CNN trying to paint Trump's decision to NOT attack Iran as cowardly, while Democrats in our legislature were quick to pass sanctions that our allies in Europe had to push back against.

 

I'm not saying that he conspires in the open means that he's honest and transparent; he messages that way (e.g. Cohen's testimony and Bonespurs asking the Russians for help, which they did that very day); he messages that way because he's an idiot who thinks that he'll get away with it.

 

This is yet another silly exercise in creating strawmen.

I do agree that not attacking Iran was the right call, but he's a ****ing halfwit for even ordering it to begin with. "Cowardice" has nothing to do with it.

 

tRump needs all the help he can get. I think his best shot is to make a splash in the world somehow, like ending the Korean War with his fellow dictators, then resigning with a pardon to end the investigation in Congress. That would get him what he was really after (the fame), because he sure as hell didn't want to be President and have to deal with all the problems he caused. The job just isn't his style and he knows it. Otherwise, tRump has to win the election to stay out of jail, so would a man who lost so much money in casinos be willing to take such risks? If a Russian hooker pisses on a mattress and tRump isn't there, is he still smiling?

 

If he loses the 2020 election, he'll resign at 11:58 PM on his last day in office, Pence will take the oath of office at 11:59, and pardon Bonespurs immediately thereafter.

Mark it down. Though it won't save Bonespurs from his numerous state crimes.

They could try that past, present and future crimes pardon again, like they did with Nixon, claiming it would heal the country. The thing is, if tRump goes the distance, he prevents someone taking his place to win. The Russians not wanting the Democrats to win is their priority, tRump is only involved in it.
