Its 4.1% for a single quarter and has very little impact on . You need to average all growth since his presidency. His average is 2.7%. That is actually pretty decent and above both Obama and Bush, but he hasn't had a recession yet to drag down his numbers, and he hasn't matched the kind of growth Clinton had. Those days may be gone forever. The real problem is that while GDP growth is healthy, the middle class isn't really getting any richer, and all the real growth is going to the top. Thats a major problem.

 

Obama did the same thing or have you forgotten the bail out auto and big insurance, essentially bailing out Wall Street and big corporations you pretend to be against.

 

Sorry OP - but as of the 12th of October, even Rasmussen has Trump under 50% approval - and the average of polls is under 43%.
Trump just isn't well liked. Most voters know he is a liar. His GDP numbers are less than Carter's.

While the average is a respectable 2.7%, there is also a positive trajectory leading to that recent 4.1%.
Q4 2015 had growth of less than a half percent. From Q1 on we’ve had a fairly steady incline in rate of growth. We have also had five consecutive months of increased wages signaling the beginning of a middle class comeback on top of increased spendable income due to the tax cuts.

Understand that I am no supporter of Trump, but I am a supporter of tax cuts and deregulation. While I maintain that is the reason for the improved economy, I worry the inflationary effects of his protectionist policies along with alarming increased spending could reverse these gains.

 

Obama did it for companies who were about to go bust during a tremendous financial crisis.
Nothing of the sort is going on now... so Obama really did not do the same thing

Trump is a million times better than the alternative was and is doing a million times better than our last president so I guess you would rather see the country in shambles and us American's to continue losing in a poor economy and open borders?
