Not a single new mile has been built. They're only replacing what was already slated for replacement. No new sections, not paid for by Mexico.

Has Mexico now started to improve their own border enforcement, and agreed to have immigrants housed on their side of the border? Yes.

The crap being replaced with a REAL barrier, in many cases, could hardly qualify as any obstacle at all. So yes, a real wall is being built.

 

The fake news media of the far right have no objective sources than any new wall has been built on site where a wall had never been built before.

 

The wall before was downright pathetic in many places. Wasn't that difficult for people to slip through. It desperately needed an upgrade.

Trump hating open border liberals ought to be cheering construction. Maybe if Trump completes the wall, voters won't give him a 2nd term to finish his 2016 mandate to secure the border.
