Trump defenders routinely, and you have done so here, defend trump by arguing that trump did not say something solely because he did not phrase it in a manner that they recognize. So it is like playing whack a mole every time Trump does say something objectionable like here when he called the WHO conclusions a false number based on a hunch. That happened. But defenders on this thread have jumped to his defense by saying that he instead made some sort of well-reasoned argument based on a data point for which the WHO and others are intimately aware. Trump also did suggest that people can go to work while sick with the coronavirus. That happened. But defenders on this thread have jumped to his defense by arguing that he did not say that they should go. Trump did use the word hoax while discussing the virus. That happened. But defenders on this thread have jumped to his defense by saying that he called me a hoax.

 

I'm going to say this without any political motive.

Please remember there are people who look healthy who suffer from immune disorders. They absolutely should not be exposed to the virus. So while you may be ok to work, you are NOT OK to be AT work.

 

If you don't have corona virus when you go to the doctor you might have it after two hours in the crowded waiting room.

If you go just stare at the wall, for sure don't thumb through any magazines.

Seems pretty simple to me. What Trump said is a signal to all that it is quite okay to go to work. The alternative would have been for him to say that sick people should not go to work as doing so is an immediate health risk to everyone and thing they come into contact with.

 

You can, of course, make whatever claim that you wish.

 

If anything's going to kill us in the near future it would be the corona virus. But so far it doesn't look all that virulent. The old guy who survived it in quarantine in TN said for him it was like a mild case of the flu.

afaik there's 12 deaths in the US since Trump imposed travel bans on Jan. 31.

SK has a low death rate because of doing more testing. As the US ramps up testing the death rate likely will decline significantly also.
