You seem to focus on the strangest things. Upset over some children's pledge? Upset that you heard a nutjob talking about stoning people? When there are people being thrown off buildings for even the mere suspicion of being gay and you can't bring yourself to condemn them and their actions specifically without also condemning christians. For killing people??

There is nothing I don't understand about Islam and Shariah law, I used to teach it along with Arabic and prayer.

First of all, Shariah law is very rarely practiced anywhere mainly because it wouldn't serve the interest of tyrant governments (and oh how they love the freedom to do as they please). Second of all Sharia law can only be enforced in a theocracy (which we don't have in the US). Third all religious law (not just Islamic) comes from God (not man) so it is wiser and more just. Yet people always want to return to the days of jahiliyya (go figure). Basically you just have a problem with God. Now ask yourself, who else is known for having a problem with God? But here is the real kicker; you cannot escape God, so it kinda sucks to be you.

 

Most Christians were apparently equally complicit with Catholic priest putting pedophilia on the map until Pope Francis told 'em to "knock that stuff off" yet is was already in the Bible the whole time.

The last few years have been quite educational. Maybe that's why Ramadan is no longer celebrated.

Wrong. For one thing, most Christians in the US are not Catholic...and now that they finally understand the problem, most Catholics are totally unaccepting of it.

President Jefferson didn't hold a dinner for observing Ramadan but held a "state dinner" with the ambassador of the enemy to learn more about how to defeat the enemy (Muslims) in North Africa. President Jefferson also read the Quran not to become a Muslim but to learn how to defeat the Muslims during the Barbary Pirates Wars.

President Bush got smart really quick and ended the loony tradition and held only two dinners that violated the separation of state and religion.

Six years later Obama would do what he has done most of his life, celebrating Ramadan.
But Obama also celebrates and observes Kwanzaa every year and took eight Kwanzaa vacations in Hawaii as President.

 

Most people do "do themselves", I'm not sure what this fascination is you have about Muslims. If you're gay, then be gay, if you're straight than be straight, If you're an atheist then be an atheist, but do force you're will on other people. To be quite honest, I don't want someone that doesn't like me (for whatever reason) to make anything for me to eat. I've worked in kitchens and seen cooks do all kinds of trifling things to food if a customer pisses them off. I would actually be very relieved that they just denied me service.

Are you saying they follow a different book? Hell the Bible condemns homosexuality yet we have gay churches everywhere. The only reason the White House celebrates any holiday is to pander for votes. Really its kind of insulting when you think about it.
