Well. I hope that Le Pen will not be elected.

Le Pen is very dangerous for France… However, Trump is very dangerous for the world, and thus, it is very dangerous for the United States of America… and thus for himself. Indeed, I am pretty sure that, if he continues, his future may end prematurely. One cannot act has he does without making millions of enemies, even in his own country (and above all, in his own country).

I hear they are building a wall around the Eiffel Tower. Is France going to start building walls around everything instead of just keeping out terrorists? What clown is in charge over there?

Yes, I care about what Trump says, you are right.

At first, I was choked. Therefore, I reacted to his provocations.

However, after much thought, I think that Trump does more good than harm for the rest of the world. I say : «(*)to the rest of the world(*)» because I exclude the United States of America. Regarding the United States of America I think that Trump is doing more harm than good.

What I see around me is that : a violent reaction against Trump. Trump is bringing people together against him all around the world. And, believe it or not, Trump has a good influence over the European community since he upsets a lot of people. It is good to have a common enemy.

That’s why, now, after much thought, I think that I should encourage Trump into its delirium. The more he makes enemies, the better it is for the rest of the world.

And, maybe, at some point, someone in hs own country will decide that this is enough… That day it will be a very bad news for Trump’s enemies outside of the United States of America.

In the past few years, France has had more than 20 Islamist-terrorist attacks. Don't look now Denis......THEY'RE BACK.....AND... on YOUR soil!!! Look to your own backyard before criticizing US. Thanks...And Welcome.

Martel proves that France once had balls...You can get them back...Just learn from Trump.

As far as I am concerned, a few terrorist attacks are no big deal… really, it’s no big deal.

Road traffic kills much more. The subprime crisis killed much more.

Do you think that those poor bastards are the real threat for the society ?
Are you so afraid of those poor bastards ?
Don’t you see the real threat ?

Don’t be weak. Don’t be a fool. Do not let emotions take control over you. Use your head. Don’t let some bastards influence you by playing with your emotion…

Only the entrenched corrupt ruling political establishments and their subjects hate Trump. The rest of humanity is waiting to see what he does in office. So far, all of his executive orders have generated surprisingly high approval numbers. You need to get out more and interact with people who don't see the world like you do. And you have come to the right place. ;-)

In the context of my post, the word 'has' is the better. It's a colloquialism and if you're French you obviously missed it. Incidentally it isn't the done thing on messageboards to pick up other members on their grammar.

A man like Trump may well trigger the third world war… I picture the scene :

Trump is within a big bunker somewhere. The TV is here too. He will deliver a speech full of hatred about some kind of « believer »… saying that some religion should be exterminated. And he will ceremonially push the button that triggers nuclear bombs… with a very big smile on his face.

Or, maybe, Trump will play the « cowboy » within « China territory » (China Sea, North Korea…). And you can be sure that he will do big speeches full of hatred, in front of all TV channels, in order to justify his actions. Doing so, he will upset all the « big players » within the region…

Oh, by the way : did you know what Trump said about the last North Korean provocation (The last missile test) ? Trump said : « this won’t happen ». Well… let’s see. You know what ? I say that this is just a boasting. Why ? Because he just cannot do anything about it. What can he possibly do ?

Trump reacts immediately to events in a purely « media way » : he thinks « media first ». He thinks « my image first ». Please note that all political bastards think of their image… But, with Trump, we rich the highest.

But what about « real strategy » ? What about « long-term strategy that goes far beyond his oversized ego » ?

What you describe is a fantasy. OTH, in the real world it was the "Peace In Are Time" boy, Neville Chamberlain, who led the Western democracies into World War.

    Hello Ddya,

Well, this is what we think about Trump, here in France, and globally in Europe. My friends from China share the same vision.

From our point of view, Trump is unstable and « totally obsessed by his image », and thus by the media. This obsession, that may be symptomatic of a psychiatric disorder, and that explains why he is unstable, pushes him to throw declarations that appears to be boats.

    You should understand our concerns.

The subprime crisis was initiated by bastards (money men), in the United States of America. The subprime crisis killed many more people than the terrorist attacks… Money men are bastards killers. And what is Trump doing ? He deregulates finance… He gives more freedom to the bastards…

    You should understand our concerns.

France? You mean that little nation who would be speaking German if it weren't for the US? Who cares what they think?

    Welcome Denis from France.

You've probably realised by now that many users on this forum are quite good at insults - especially if they don't like and share your opinion - , yet at the same time surprisingly thin skinned.

Oh, and something else ... never, never ever criticise the US on this forum. Only yanks are allowed to criticise others and they are very good at this my-country-is-better-than-your-country game. That's a game my friends and I used to play in year 7 and 8 at school, but we used our favourite bands instead.

    Hello ArmySoldier,

I don’t blame you since the majority of US citizens knows very few about the rest of the world. While I was living in the US, I used to test my interlocutors. I asked them about Transnistria, Madagascar… Many had never heard of these nations. And among those who had, they rarely could place these nations on the map.

I should also remind you that, if you are a « native US citizen », then your ancestors may well come from France, or from another small country. But how do you define a « native US citizen » since all US citizens (except the Indians, of course) are immigrants ?

However, I encourage you to travel, to learn other languages, to read news from foreign countries… Why don’t you come to Paris ? Or maybe Madrid, Lisbon ? Welcome to France ! Maybe you could find some ancestors here, in the old Europe ?

Those are just the latest talking points of the corrupt political class. Most people ignore that sort of nonsense now.

Clinton, not Trump was the candidate of Wall Street. Even the honest hard Left knew that much.

“The Dems act more liberal than GOP, but their role in the system is to prevent progressives from defying corporate rule. #BreakThe2PartyTrap”

Now Denis, I would bet that our Army Soldier has seen far more of the world up close than you could imagine. Have you really been to Antananarive - ever participate in the beloved corpse parade? ;-)

Even Native Americans are immigrants, sort of. It's not like they evolved here independently of the rest of humanity.

Really, I think we need to keep the notion of immigration restricted to modern, state-based immigration, because human history is chock full of population migrations and intermixing.

Been to Paris when I was stationed in Germany. Paris was hilarious. Everyone is really skinny. No one eats any food there. There's no muscle tone on anyone. It was like being in a weird hipster movie.

Pick up a steak every once in a while.

Well... I see that we are not the only ones to be worried by Trump's psychological / psychiatric troubles :

I tell you: United States of America are in deep trouble. Of course, 4 years is not long... you may have to wait 4 years to get read of this clown :)

    Regards.

Only Americans believe American intelligence services are competent and loyal. You must not be French, or you would know that "American intelligence" is something of an oxymoron. ;-)

The current opposition to Trump is more hysterical and desperate but far weaker now than before the election. There are no significant obstacles to a second term for Trump. :)

I hope it was sarcasm. Nevertheless, I just want Europeans to realize that multikulti failed and liberals stopped being sissies who feel white guilt etc, I seriously don't get what they feel, something like Louis XIV, probably, who used to say "be it flood after us". Liberals should ask European politicians what they did to their continent which is literally ruined.

Lol look at who he appoints to help him. Clinton was bribed like most politicians, but Trump IS wall street with symbolic protectionistic gestures. As to Trump: Obvious narcissist with some resulting dysfunction.
