Here's my take on Trumps bizarre behavior and his Russian connections. Or what I would call; The Trussia-file.

It's clear now that Trump is merely trying to protect some seedy sexual past. Trumps main problem is that some of it happened in a Russian hotel-room.
Bad mistake! Because Russia is owned by Putin and Putin wasted no time getting Trump caught on camera.

Then, some years later and few memories short, Trump suddenly wants to be President. Putin still has the salacious tape and made sure Trump knew about it.
(But, you know, only after he was elected President.)

Does that mean Putin is ''waving'' that tape in Trumps face every other day? No, because Putin doesn't have to. Putin is not after Trumps impeachment. He is after chaos.
Chaos in American politics. And he's got exactly that. Which is exactly why Putin's people were happy enough to ''engage'' with Trumps advisers prior to the election.
This was all about promoting controversy. (From Putin's perspective anyway.) And Trumps nitwit advisers were stupid enough to walk into the Putin trap.
But rest assure, no election fraud was ever discussed. This was more about the suggestion of impropriety.

In the meantime, Trump the President is being haunted by his dirty tape and therefore fires anybody who might be in a position to obtain it.

So what we have here is just a collusion of events, not one single smoking gun. (At least, not a tape in which Trump plans to have Russia hack the elections.)
Trump might be a bully and a thug, but even he couldn't conceive that kind of plan.

In the end, Trump is just the victim of his own stupidity and sexual conduct. It really is the banality of idiocy.
You'd almost feel sorry for the guy. I mean, he's dumber than a door that still thinks it's a tree. And then he has himself caught on camera in a Russian hotel-room, entertaining some hookers.

Putin is the third party laughing here. He's put American politics in disarray, more by good fortune than anything else.

I am sure it will linger on for a while longer.

If there is one thing Trump does better than anyone I've ever seen, it's lie.

As others have said...he lies even when he does not have to. It's just that deep-seated and ingrained in him.

Well I doubt the Anti Trumpers know what a compulsive pathological liar is. As they seem to forget all about their Special Gal, Hillary. Who was out lying some more last week. But hey.....they have never seen anyone lie more than Trump.

Now that is some funny ****.

Who cares what Alan Dershowitz says?.

He has long since found that there is good money in shilling for right wing causes.

Perhaps he will take on the task of being Trump's attorney.

But, like all the big name firms, he knows two things about Trump.

    He doesn't listen.

    He doesn't pay.

And Alan Dershowitz likes to get paid!

    Yes it is.

Trump lives for the moment. Chris Matthews did a thing on this last night. Trump measures his progress by his victories, which are often defined as being no more than bs'ing his way through any given situation.

It doesn't matter what he says, because he's forgotten it the moment he said it. The concept of truth has no meaning for Trump. He says anything that will get him through. He tells everyone exactly what they want to hear.

I have marvelled at how long it seems to have taken a lot of people to figure this out. I've know it for decades.

If that's the case turn over the tapes and put this thing to rest. I doubt that he will do it though, because I believe Comey is telling the truth.

Meaning; since January Trump is trying to bulls**t himself out the Russian sex-tape controversy. Comey is just the latest to be fired by Trump, for fear of being exposed.
Hence, his offer of being interrogated under oath. Trump is desperate to have this cloud of sexual misconduct lifted.

    Back atacha Dershy:

In the View of the Supreme Court, Alan Dershowitz Is Wrong About the Powers of the President

Alan Dershowitz, in a series of recent op-eds, has taken to arguing in his characteristic take-no-prisoners style that the whole issue of whether President Trump might have obstructed justice is a red herring. Even if the President ordered James Comey to shut down the Flynn investigation and had a corrupt intent for doing so, this would still not amount to the crime of obstruction of justice. The reason, according to Dershowitz, is that the Constitution gives the exclusive power to the President to control all federal law-enforcement investigations—and thus to shut any of them down for any reason the President sees fit. In other words, the President can never commit obstruction of justice by shutting down a criminal investigation or prosecution.

But Dershowitz fails to take into account that the Supreme Court has decisively rejected this view. In Morrison v. Olson (1988), a 7-1 Supreme Court turned back constitutional challenges to Congress’ creation of the Act that gave us the office of the Independent Counsel—and in doing so, dismissed exactly the argument that Dershowitz now seeks to invoke.

The Ethics in Government Act was created out of the recognition that the President should be taken out of the process of controlling investigations and prosecutions that involved potential crimes by himself or high-ranking government officials—i.e., close aides of the President. As the Supreme Court thought was obvious, “Congress, of course, was concerned when it created the office of independent counsel with the conflicts of interest that could arise in situations when the Executive Branch is called upon to investigate its own high-ranking officers.”

The Act created a process that could lead to the appointment of an Independent Counsel for this role, and the entire point of the Act was to insulate the Independent Counsel—and hence the investigation and prosecution of crimes involving the President and his or her top aides—from the President’s complete control. The Act essentially put the powers of the Department of Justice in the hands of the Independent Counsel: it vested him or her with the "full power and independent authority to exercise all investigative and prosecutorial functions and powers of the Department of Justice [and] the Attorney General."

Then, to even further ensure that the President not have unfettered control when potential crimes involving himself and his top aides were at stake..."

Did Obama "lie" about closing down Gitmo, and numerous other campaign promises and claims that never came to fruition? If you can't answer that in the affirmative, then neither can you call Trump a liar, that is, unless you are a total hypocrite.

Making errors in estimates, assumptions, technicalities, or minutia; or making debatable and qualitative comments are not lies. If they were, then the Climate Change activists you on the left call "scientists" are the biggest liars in the world, and those who believe them the most gullible. In fact, the Democratic Party and the Main Stream Media would be one of the biggest enterprises of lies the world has ever seen.

In fact, it would be far easier to call you a prolific liar for lying about what constitutes a lie, than to call Trump a liar based upon your false assumptions of what a lie is.

I deleted for brevity - you were repeating your curses anyway.
    You are losing it.
You know damn well the Dems cannot bring impeachment charges - the fascists control EVERYTHING - they manage the agenda.
    You know all that.
I think you smell the truth and it scares you - you must be tired of tying to twist and turn and swallowing bigger and bigger lies to defend this reality show host off a script.
Luckily, there are a handful in the GOP who have a shred a decency left - our future depends on them putting country above party. Ryan and TurtleMan McConnell are loathsome - facts will have to be overwhelming to force their hand to do the right thing.

For now, the investigations have to proceed to produce facts. The facts will then dictate what happens.
For me, right now, Obstruction of Justice is on the plate. Collusion by Flynn, Kushner, Manafort, et al, needs further investigation.

Once again I could ask you to tell me one (ONE) thing that I said which was inaccurate, but I know that is a futile request, because you can't do it! Parenthetically, did you ever trouble yourself to find out what a SCIF is... and to realize that Hilarity did NOT have one in any of her mansions...? Can you really sit there, Vietvet, and continue to delude yourself into believing that she never broke national security laws?! :roflol:

Nevertheless, I'll remind you that a lot of us, me included, voted for Trump primarily to protect the Supreme Court from anymore hyperliberal, rabid, Left-wing TRASH like Sotomayor and Kagan (thanks, Obama!). Reality? If you guys had run just about anybody beside Hilarity Clinton, your guy/gal/transgender/whatever would be hosting discussions in the Oval Office today! Joe Biden, for example, would have won in a mountain-slide!

But I was serious! Go ahead and IMPEACH TRUMP, if that's what you want to do! Why not? So many of the idle, hyperliberal Left hasn't got much of anything else to do anyway but sit around and wait for Uncle Sugar to send more and more welfare goodies in the mail.... If you throw Trump out, you'll just get a President Mike Pence to deal with... right? Ha! I'd love to watch the same pack of rabid Libocrats grind their teeth on trying to get rid of Pence, too...! GO FOR IT... KNOCK YOURSELVES OUT! .:roflol:
