I find this quite amusing. The EU are publicly crying. They are only now waking up to the fact that the US cannot be trusted to stick to international agreements, any agreement - let alone the world order they, in fact, created. Poor fools.

Hmmmm, I guess growing up is tough.

Mom and dad won't always be there.

    Good luck folks!

And my statement to Macron: "neither is French military dominance."

I think the last time they won anything was under Napoleon.

Translation: we want to keep charging the US high tariffs while expecting them to bend over for us Obama-style.

    No thanks.

It is only since 9/11 the US has had the seeming cosy relationship with Europe - stupid Europe tried to support the US in what appeared its hour of need. Big, Big mistake.

We didn't need them for 9/11.

Thanks for your support but sending two mounties with outdated rifles as we send thousands across a border isn't really a big help.

I see it as their chickens are coming home to roost; DJT might be a bit volatile, but he realised what exploitative opportunists they are by not paying their full contribution to NATO, so a plague on all their houses. I don't think he'll pull off this NK issue, but if he does there are really gonna be some red faces in the anti-Trump camp.

I believe you nailed it exactly.

These nations are afraid that Trump is exposing unfair practices and is willing to call them out on it and it frightens them.

For decades they thought the could feed for free from the US taxpayer and they are waking up to the realization that they can't anymore.

    I love it.

Die for you you mean. Die for you so that you will insult them when they are dead as you have just done. Die for you so that you can destroy the Middle East for religious motives. I am sure you absolutely love people dying for you so that you can then jeer them. All the US can boast is its ability to kill people.

Um, you guys were the ones getting bombed, we came and rescued you.

What wars of ours have you fought in other than the one where you tried to take our nation?

Don't really recall that great British push in Vietnam to save the day.

    Did I miss that?

    Where were you in Korea?

    Sitting at home drinking tea.

    So spare us.

God how I loathe that Donald Tusk. Sorry, just had to get if off my chest! But it isn't quite as personal as it might seem, because I loathe them all! My curse on bureaucrats everywhere.

I'm sorry but how many nations and people did we save by entering the world wars that had nothing to do with us?

If the American posters on this thread remain true to their words, and the US elite are in accord with them, that'll be the end of the Western alliance.

    Suits me.

Europe can now move on and establish relations elsewhere in the world.

No sorry. You were the ones supporting terrorism and the killing of British people. Once you had stopped that our Government was stupid enough to go with yours, presumably because Tony Blair was as people say, like your leader a Christian Zionist. People died and you mock them. If an example of your country, you prove how the whole world should isolate you. Not only do you go on a course resulting in millions of deaths and millions of Refugees, you then piss on the graves of those who fought beside you. <Mod Edit>

    Lets hope so.

The UN and NATO are no longer required.

We have spend enough money building up Europe to fend for themselves.

Unfortunately they are giving their nations over to Muslims but that's their problem now.

As I said anyone who pisses on the graves of people who fought along side them deserves nothing from anyone and should be shunned. If that is what you are after enjoy. If that is what you think a winner is see a psyche.

I think its safe to say that Muslim nations now have their own paid trolls.

A little tip here, you need some practice at it.

Actually, Roosevelt was pressing Poland, France and GB into war with Hitler approx two years before it broke out. It was an American war as much as anyone's, as the US elite saw it as their opportunity to arise as the new world power. Which, of course, they did. Eventually.

But other than that I'm with Alexa. Brits have shed blood for American wars for decades.

I am not a Muslim and you know it. You have spat on British soldiers who died fighting in wars you wanted and repeated it after you were made absolutely clear who those people were. <Mod Edit>

You know its foolish to claim that British soldiers were fighting to save America when we landed in Normandy don't you?

But then again, we all need to laugh sometimes.

But you are right, I am so thankful to all the British soldiers that died so we could push back the Nazi's.

They saved America with their bravery.

Yup. And when the US goes belly up and the Pentagon de facto is reduced to a minor military player in the world due to massive budgetary cut-backs, I'll be delighted to visit the subject again.

    What wars?

You mentioned one war out of about the 30 we've been engaged with the British in.

Tell me what wars they fought in that they didn't want to.

So the US will go belly up because we have to spend less money on protection.

    Gotcha!

And me - especially after Iraq and double-especially the fiasco of Afghanistan. I won't go further back than that, although for some reason Vietnam comes to mind!
