    Yes, I very much agree. We have a lot of hypocrisies here. This being a major one. The other one is that we sanction Russia and tighten the rope as tightly as we can for the same wrongdoings China does to us on a yearly basis. We either cut them BOTH off or we stop the hypocrisy.

    Diplomacy is much more complex than that. Things like spheres of influence, cost/benefits, the degree of disagreements, historical relationships, economic concerns etc come into play.

    If your only standard is 100% consistency, across a large world, at all times you are going to be disappointed.

    Im trying to think of any nation that has ever done that, can't think of one.
