Good news and supports the prevailing theory we have made great progress in treating this disease. Looks like Trump will beat this fast and like Reagan after he was shot rebound and look stronger than ever.

I am not sure that having the resources of dozens of advanced medical personnel around the clock, helicopter, unlimited equipment, the latest technology, and experimental drug that "we have made great progress in treating this disease".

Billionaires and unlimited personnel and medical supplies maybe have made progress on a case of the "sniffles".

Yeah, we hope so!

 

Just wait the American people are going to rally around Trump after this. Like they did to Reagan after his being seriously wounded.

 

I hope he does well, but unlike Reagan, this wound was likely self-inflicted. He consistently refused to take precautions. Hell, he even knowingly risked exposing others to the virus instead of doing the sane, responsible thing and isolating himself.

How can Trump save the U.S. from a virus he's been in denial about for months. He Knew since February how dangerous it was but said and did nothing. By breaking up pandemic teams and litteraly doing nothing thousands of lives were lost losses that could have been prevented. In April May and June he walked around in public not wearing masks and publicly role modeled the exact wrong behavior in front of his followers. Even as it was proved to him that masks completely were 100% necessary he and his family and advisers were still too stupid and lazy to wear masks when appropriate. How can we expect him to save our country when this pitiful jackazz cant save himself and his surrounding circle.

Welp, turns out it looks like he didn't just know that he had been exposed by Thursday morning, but knew on WEDNESDAY that he was INFECTED. Yet he still negligently exposed others. I'm glad he's well, but Walter Reed should keep him there until his isolation period is over. He can't be trusted to act like a responsible adult.

Walking the Walk is not synonymous with being a complete moron. Perhaps you can't tell the difference between the two. If Trump and his entourage cannot save themselves from being sick then he has no right to be president. Early on Trump chose not wearing a mask even though it was proven time and again that they were necessary. The safety measures he needed to take were simple and common sense. Only an azzhole choses the possibility of getting get sick ( with a deadly disease) in order to look like he has guts. Only an azzhole role models deadly and dangerous behavior in front of family and associates to prove he has gutz.

 

Probably following Fauci's advice, at one point he told to NOT wear masks and saying Trump has "said and done nothing about it" is false and you know it. Biden would never have banned travel to China.

 

Not wearing a mask and getting infected is one thing. Not wearing a mask for the safety of others once you find out that you've been exposed is a far bigger deal. Hell, a mask was the least he could do. He SHOULD have isolated himself as soon as he found out he was exposed. That sure as hell is what I did and what any remotely responsible, non-psychotic adult would do unless it was somehow impossible to do so.

 

As I said we can’t all hide in a bunker like Biden. Most of us need to keep on keepin on.

 

The China travel ban wasn't really a ban, and it wasn't effective. The virus was already here at that point. It was just a lazy gimmick. Fauci said not to wear a mask back when masks were in extremely short supply, needed for medical professionals, and we still didn't have an epidemic here yet. Fauci changed his mind based on the evidence. He's repeatedly advised masks. And he's NEVER said that infected people shouldn't wear a mask. Saying Trump was following Fauci's advice is pure nonsense.

 

That is good news and I wish him a speedy recovery. This will not help Trump messaging that covid is like the flu though. At best he was airlifted to a hospital, spent at least 2 nights and given an experimental cocktail of antibodies. Americans have all had the flu and they know this is not what happens when you get a flu. I hope the president will recovery quickly and use his experiences to change his narrative on the virus.

 

He’s been taking hydroxy and one theory is it lessens the effects of Covid if you contract it. Looks like that may be the case with Trump. Fevers already gone in one day.
