    He'll probably face charges in Georgia in May for the election theft plot there, but I think he'll stay in the lead after that. He MIGHT slip after he's charged for the documents theft, but that might not even happen before the primaries.

    DeSantis overplayed the authoritarian hand, which appeals to only his base, and it seems he overestimated the size of that base.

    They are both authoritarian, but lately its been only DeSantis who has put it in practice, and its simply because Trump does not hold on office.

    You guys want Trump because you figure he'll be easy to beat, even against Biden.

    You notice they didn't let Biden get close to the crowd today for the White House Easter egg roll. The Easter Bunny didn't want to have to save him two years in a row!

    Stupid Democrat DA bringing charges against Trump . Let him and GOP fall on their own sward. We don't need Trump convicted , we want Trump defeated in election along with other GOPs.

    Maybe not on this one. Maybe, MAYBE not even in the Georgia one. But he will be convicted in his stolen documents case. He doesn't have a prayer for that one.

    This is what happened in 2020.

    Since then, Trump has further alienated moderate voters.

    Biden's chances in 2024 are much better than in 2020.

    And if you cared for the country, you should not be happy about that. In the past, “the power elites” would have eased Biden out because he is mentally impaired. Perhaps, if they still exist and have power, they will do that.

    GOPs hatred for Democrats/ liberals is so much that they would rather vote for a fascist who will end US democracy.

    Fortunately for America, 55% Americans would rather save democracy then worry about inflation or slow economy.

    You really can't depend on all of those 81 millions. Circumstances change. Even many democrats are saying Biden shouldn't run again and given the state of affairs, currently under his administration, many of them might just stay home.

    If the option is putting Trump (or a Trump wannabe) in the White House, they will vote for the Democrat.
