I wasn't asking about the media - I was asking about the Trump administration. Why didn't they correct the story at the time? The press secretary didn't know the REAL reason for the park being cleared????

Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany defended the way that U.S. Park Police cleared protesters on Monday from the area near Lafayette Square Park in advance of Donald Trump’s visit to an historic church in the area.

“I think the U.S. Park Service, with having bricks thrown at them and frozen water bottles, had the right to act. They acted with the appropriate level of force to protect themselves, and to protect the average citizenry, and to protect the peaceful protesters who were among them as well,” she told reporters at a press briefing on Wednesday.

“And what they used was a way to target those that were being violent. They used the minimal force that they could to ensure that that situation was safe, to make sure that St. John’s Church would not burn for a second night in a row.”

Hard to relate to people who are fine with being deceived. It doesn't bother you that the entire information-producing system of national media conveyed a false version of events for a whole year?

I have trouble believing why the cops violently cleared the protesters away, and hust happen to forget to shoot some teargas at the dirtbag getting his photo's taken at the church.

So it already was planned that Donald would be where the crowed was protesting. Barr objected.
Enter the US secret Service starts beating away the protesters without any kind of warning,
and they were helped by the bureau of prison guards, and it remains unknown why they were there in the first place.

So it does say the protesters were beaten away for the sake Donald wanted to take a photo.
It's a good thing we are not allowed to know when the protesters originally had to go if Donald didn't decided to show up.
But it wouldn't have been at that time. That's for sure.
