    It is, but theres a point to be made from the historical data. Support for Trump's impeachment is much higher than Clinton and yet the damage from Clinton's impeachment upon the Republican party was a grand total of two seats in the House.

    So unless you have a reason for arguing that this impeachment is going to help Trump, something besides your feelings, I am going to keep noting that the historical record cuts against you.

    Not really. Nancy's Impeachment Managers have been working the impeachment details directly for months. It makes sense for some House Republicans who have also been livin' in Nancy's dream world to be available to assist Trump's main legal defense team.

    From what I've read, the House members will be playing more of a behind-the-scenes role, and not be actively defending Trump on the Senate floor.
