Oh, which of those things do you not know is a fact?

    1. Manafort was not prosecuted previously for what he was prosecuted for this time or
    2. Manafort is in jail for not paying his taxes

So you don't know how bank loans work either.

So not only do you think banks take people's word on the value of a property, you also think they take people's word on the value of their assets.

Well damn, I'm gonna go buy the Bills.

    1. Yeah I'm pretty sure it's the job of prosecutors to prosecute
    2. Oh yeah? What else? Anything to do with Russians maybe?

Yeah ... I ain't rehashing Manafort, because I'd have to examine the charges that he was "exonerated" on. :roflol: My assertion stands. Manafort's issues are not Trump's issues. (D)'s are fishing.

Its also called standard business practices for all land owners/developers. Should we just throw our entire population in prison?

So you're saying that someone besides Trump told the bank he was worth more than he really is?

If you're not, I see you don't understand bank fraud either.

He MAY have???? So, basically, a "fishing exhibition"? Let's look for dirt until we find some?

If the State investigation finds he is guilty of over-valuing his property, then I can understand a Federal investigation.....though I would expect that it should be done by the IRS.....or the IRS investigating in conjunction with the State investigation.

The impeachment process, oversight, of legislative process was never intended to be a process where Congress looks for dirt to impeach on and will continue to look until something is found. Again, I am completely amaze that any American thinks this is ok. Unfortunately, partisan politics tends to make people view some things as being ok.....as long as it is being used on the "other side".

If Congress wants to investigate Trump for any wrong-doing, then they should open an FBI or IRS investigation if they have probable cause. If they want to impeach him, they should have evidence of guilt from investigations conducted. Congress itself has limited "investigative" authority. I have no doubt that Nadler's and Neal's request to see Trump's tax returns has absolutely NOTHING to do with IRS oversight or anything else Legislative.....and I strongly suspect that you do as well. You are not dumb.

    Oh I see.

We're back to you thinking you can tell a bank how much you're worth.

Congress was given evidence of bank fraud so they’re looking into it. If for no other reason than to see if Cohen lied or gave them bogus docs.

You can, and if you lie it’s bank fraud even if the bank knows you’re full of ****.
Are you saying the Cohen docs are fake??

Then investigate it with actual law enforcement agencies.....not Congress.

That is not what Congress is claiming is the reason they want his tax returns.....and they could not. Congress can not investigate for the sole purpose to determine criminal activity.

Cohen handed them the "smoking gun" didn't he? I can tell the difference between posturing and investigating.

Sure. Mueller only prosecuted the real case of fraud, Manafort's, and not the imaginary one you're clinging to.

    Your article is garbage.

First he tries to say that he over-inflated the amount to insurance to lower premiums, which is just stupidly wrong and only an idiot would take that at face value.

Then it says he tried to undervalue it for tax assessments, which is just stupidly wrong and only and idiot would take that at face value.

Then it says he made huge claims in wealth, but answers it's own complaint by saying that Trump claims the "brand" is worth 4B.

Now you want us to believe that Cohen saying Trump tried to commit loan application fraud is "evidence" to dig into every business dealing Trump has ever had.

Go sell your oceanfront property somewhere else.

So are you saying the docs Cohen docs are fake or that his property briefly spiked in value by 250 million dollars?
