They are not being FORCED to eat crap. They are not 'being fed', they are deliberately avoiding the brown rice, beans, and vegetables and water (all dirt cheap) in favour of high cost high caloric and 'easy' foods like meat, cheese, and soda.

 

You think the van is going to make them choose brown rice and vegetables? They'll just buy the supermarket version of soup cans.

Well they will still be able to buy the cans at 1/2 the price of the bodega/7-11 etc. Hell my wife eats frosted flakes 1/2 the mornings, and she ignores me when I tell her she is eating poison, But at least they will be able to buy a gal of milk for $3 instead of a 1/2 for $4. all the inner city stores offer is empty calories. the supermarket at least give the opportunity to easily buy fresher more nutritious food. My idea at least gives them the opportunity to do so.

You seem to have a much more negative view of people on assistance than I do. While many are free-loaders I think the most just like us want the best for their kids.

 

Well of course they do.....and they want to do it with free scammed taxpayer's money! They take your $4-5-600 dollars a month, spend it on their fat asses and then they have an extra $4-5-600 for Nexflix, iphones, big screen Tv's and eating out. Wake the hell up.
