Maybe the NRA would be more "palatable"? https://www.nraila.org/legal-legislation/state-legislation/california/2018/
Better would be for Congress to enact a law to seize property where illegal aliens live, seize the vehicles of illegal aliens, seize banks that allow illegal aliens to have bank accounts, and seize the property of businesses that employ illegal aliens. Landlords don't want their property to be seize, so they'll stop renting to illegals, and businesses will stop hiring illegals and banks will stop allowing illegals to have bank accounts. You've just eliminated any reason for illegals to stay, or even come to the US.
Yes, John Nance Garner was born in Texas but he was born when Texas was not part of the United States so he was not an American citizen. He was a foreigner just like everyone else born in the 11 Confederate States when they were not part of America. Read the 14th Amendment.
As I have said, Garner was born in Texas when Texas was not part of the United States (November 22, 186. Texas did not become part of the United States of America until 1870. Therefore he was not an American citizen per the 14th Amendment. He was a foreigner who never should have been elected to the VP office because he was never an American citizen. His position is just like the slaves off of the last slave ship. They never became actual citizens because they were never naturalized. The 14th Amendment did not apply to them. All kids born in the 11 Confederate States when they were not part of America were never American citizens because they were not born in America per the 14th Amendment nor were they ever naturalized. Garner was such a person.
Do you know that illegal aliens can legally buy property in America per State Constitutions? *Section 20 Text of Section 20: Noncitizens have the same property rights as citizens.* https://ballotpedia.org/Article_I,_California_Constitution *Section 27 Text of Section 27: Property Rights of Aliens Aliens, who are or may hereafter become bona fide residents of this state, may acquire, inherit, possess, enjoy and dispose of property, real and personal, as native born citizens.* https://ballotpedia.org/Colorado_Constitution
