There is no hatred of Donnie that I see nor have I expressed any and I honestly have not read any post here that expressed hatred for Donnie.

But your analogy is very far from the mark. It suggest the Republicans have been blameless throughout. Why start with Trump? Why not go back to McConnell vowing to oppose everything Obama did? Why not go back to Clinton's impeachment? Washington has been very partisan for a long time. My point is, both sides feel the same way, and while they each blame the other for being the sole problem, nothing will change.

 

It's legitimate to oppose policies, that's what opposition parties are elected to do....
