Nope. Not ok with anyone trying to sway a trial one way or the other. What specifically has Cohen said?

Have only explained it like 20 times with regards to the new york case. You just don't accept the explanation for whatever reason.

    @LiveUninhibited

Joe does not have to collect any money at all to be involved in money laundering, influence peddling, and bribery.... just his family collecting money and diamonds from the selling of the brand is all that is needed...

He is senile, and he is directly involved in what his son did.... emails, testimony, phone calls, text messages, laptops, etc have been out now to show what was going on with the Biden crime family and daddy Joe

The pink elephant in the room no one talks about.... VP Biden had Secret Service protection... his son had Secret Service protection... are we actually to believe daddy Joe and president Obama was not aware of the actions of the Biden crime family and the whereabouts and illegality that was going on? Where are the Secret Service logs and documentation of their protectees?

Selling the brand (pretty sure that quote comes from when Biden wasn't even in office, by the way) isn't bribery.

No, it hasn't been explained once, accurately. You can't, now. Why not just admit it?

It doesn't matter what he said. He's been on Twitter talking about the case and about Trump. He shouldn't be to do that. Right?

Let me guess. The appeal will be based on false claims of bias. I can only imagine the trouble he'd be in if there actually was bias against him. He'd be in jail for contempt, the surety bond amount would not have been reduced, and AG James would be working on the state of NY assuming ownership of a few of his properties.

Why is this a surprise ?
The righties and MAGA types didn't read the indictment in the Trump fraud trial and keep arguing the law even after the judgement was entered and to this very day.

Righties and MAGA type don't believe in the law or due process unless it returns the result they want.

Try actually reading it. I don't think the mods would look kindly on me taking you seriously when you say you are not smart enough to do so.

I'm not sure if there's much point, as I've said it before. A Complete Guide to the Manhattan Trump Election Interference Prosecution (justsecurity.org)

Here's the falsifying business records law: C:\Users\bills\OneDrive\Documents\ALLFILES\PLAYGROUND\JUDGES\CJI\2-PenalLaw\175\175.10.wpd (nycourts.gov)

It's not just this law that elevates it to a felony, but this one is the easiest to understand and support:

    NYS Open Legislation | NYSenate.gov
§ 17-152. Conspiracy to promote or prevent election. Any two or more
persons who conspire to promote or prevent the election of any person to
a public office by unlawful means and which conspiracy is acted upon by
one or more of the parties thereto, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.

This is one of the second offenses that makes the falsifying business charge a felony. By New York law and precedent, the second crime does NOT have to be separately charged - ever. But it will need to be proven that there was at least an intent to commit that crime in making the case to the jury that he is guilty of felony falsification of business records.

I didn't see you screaming or complaining about two-tier lawfare when Trafficant, Blagovich, Weiner, and soon-to-be Melendez got in trouble. Most Americans will not tolerate, vote for, or defend a criminal just because they share the same ideologies. Only the hardcore Republican base.

If the brand was being sold when Biden wasn't in office, then selling the brand wasn't about bribery or influence peddling. Context clues. They help.

Again, your request, by your own admission, is based on your claim (mods, note, this is his own claim, not mine) that you aren't smart enough to read the indictment. I don't believe you. I believe you are, in fact, smart enough.

I have. It doesn't mention the crime that the false business records were intended to conceal.
