Pres.Trump, proving that he understands the issues that concern the anthem protestors, if not their using them to, in his view, disrespect the flag ( and those who fought/died defending it) , is planning to ask the protestors for recommendations for pardons of people they feel are wrongly imprisoned.

    Why that RACIST BAST**D!!

Trump will ask athletes who kneel during anthem to recommend people for pardoning

Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump said he wants to meet with NFL players and other athletes who kneel during the National Anthem so they can recommend people they think should be pardoned due to unfair treatment by the justice system.

"I'm going to ask them to recommend to me people who were unfairly treated," Trump said at White House Friday. Trump's contentious relationship with the NFL reached a peak last year when he lambasted players who took a knee during the National Anthem to protest institutionalized racism and police brutality.

Remarkable that he’s more concerned about these players than they are of him.

Yes I don’t think athletes are how he should get ideas for pardons.
There is a process for this. It’s not who does Marshawn think should get one lol

Oh really? What's the Left's Official Approved Process for Determining Who Gets Pardoned?

You don't think that they are capable of knowing about anyone being imprisoned wrongly? Their high public profile , makes them natural avenues for such information.

So, you oppose the President's pardoning of Alice Maire Johnson?

And a "double down" from the 1st PF Left Complainer.

It's not a great gesture...it's "moronic". Got it.

More proof of rampant TDS; if President Trump cured cancer, the left would be bit**ing about him putting oncologists and Death out of work....

Agree. Trump is probably baiting them. Now the players will stumble all over each other coming up with names of people who committed horrible crimes and need to be in prison, at that point Trump can laugh at them and say 'see?'.

The players will probably pick Rae Carruth as their first choice.

Why" ALL quests for pardons start with EVERYDAY PEOPLE. They aren't MAKING THE DECISIONS.
The athletes would likely be shedding light on cases brought to them by others, per their public profile. So?

They would be recommending people they feel are wrongly imprisoned.

I fail to see any harm in that.

You see how he can't just bring himself to accept their protest instead of injecting his own false narrative.

It's the equivalent of saying will a $100 bill shut you up?

See now that is a good reason not to do it. But one that I have not seen mentioned in all of these arguments.

    And there's #4 !!!

What circus? He easily MULTI-TASKS, unlike the Choom Gang POTUS.

The President is in Canada, negotiating better trade deals for us...which, of course, you also object to.

He didn't miss a beat over this great idea; the only "CIRCUS", is watching the PDF left falling all over themselves to OPPOSE THE PARDONS OF THOSE WRONGLY IMPRISONED, ESPECIALLY MINORITY PRISONERS.

Its called compromising. It can be done successfully.
Whats wrong with getting opinions of legal advice from educated people...maybe not Kim, but the NFL athletes more than not have a college degree. Are you saying athletes are stupid? Or are you saying only lawyers and lawmakers are the only ones allowed to make legal decisions? Wonder what your take would have been when you saw a clergyman walking down the streets protesting Jim Crow laws?
