I never expected him to release his taxes. However, this makes it more official that he doesn't plan to release them. After demanding Obama produce his birth certificate and pressured Mitt Romney to release his taxes when Romney ran for President, this smacks of… what's that word that begins with an "h?" Your thoughts?

he is a POS and obviously hiding something.

he either releases his taxes from some years during this decade, or leave the race.

No evidence the audit claim is true and no reason he can't release previous years.

Let's cut to the chase...this is way more than being garden variety hypocritical...this is hiding EVERYTHING that could clear the smoke and break the mirrors. This newly revealed Russian love affair is now the icing on the cake. Trump is a fraud extraordinaire and many knew that he'd be way too thin-skinned to stand up to the scrutiny that running for the office carries with it.

    True.

But the whole tax return issue boils down to this:

The people that don't care were already voting for Trump (regardless of his abject dishonestly).

The people that care have no intention of voting for Trump (under any circumstances).

So, in a sense, it really is a non-issue in changing any votes.

Conclusion: Trump is Toast (whether he release them or not).

The traditional American Democratic Party is what is toast via Hillary Clinton, for which it is now the Global Corporate Fascist Party with followers being perpetually malcontent submissive beta-personality beggars to the super rich elites who run everything.

    - - - Updated - - -

The issue is the Clinton's foreign bank accounts and foreign Foundation records the Clintons are hiding including from auditing.

Trump just needs to delete his taxes and claim nothing on them is marked "Russia" and the liberals around here won't have a problem with it....right?

I bet Abraham Lincoln nor George Washington never released their tax returns.

Each election some release them. I don't study them. If they are in legal hot water, there are ways to learn that.

Of course not. He can't have everyone finding out what a fraud he is. The stupid trumpbots will continue their support regardless.

You make some valid points here. For this election, it may be a non-issue. It is a bit concerning to me that Trump's decision not to release his tax returns may set a precedent moving forward with future candidates for President, though.

Cannot argue with you there. But one thing is clear, regardless of whether or not one is a Hillary supporter and I was not, she's got more grit and stamina in her little finger than Trump has or will ever have in his entire weird being. Can you imagine Trump getting thru even that one eleven hour ridiculous Benghazi hearing? The guy would have had a meltdown that rivals Chernobyl...and speaking of Russia...LOL

I can only pity and sympathise with his daughters and wives for they are now put in a very humiliating position the only reason they are on Donald's side is because he is family. It will be just a matter of time for Ivanka to speak out against his dad. Ivanka and Melania are Democratic liberals their speeches during the Trump convention clearly reveals they are not with Donald.

It's a matter of being open and transparent with tax payers for the candidates to release their taxes. Politicians control how our tax money is spent. Presidents ask for Congress to approve the funding of things they want. Knowing that our politicians actually pay taxes and are contributing to the country's expenses, just as much as the little guy, is one of the reasons they release their tax returns.

If it doesn't matter to you, that's fine. It matters to me.

    Absolutely.

Trump will have a horrific time even making it through the debates with Clinton.

Do you show your tax returns in order to vote?

If they want this done, include it as an amendment to the constitution.

I hear his tax returns will be stapled to Obamas School transcripts. They should be out any day now.

not his own? Oh no, only democrats have to release more than anyone else while republicans don't have to release anything. If obamas were so important why don't you want Trumps?

Can you tally up or name the POTUS's that have released their school transcripts as compared to the number of presidential candidates that have released their tax returns? Yeah, I figured that

Also, do any of the birthers ever wonder when Trump's private investigators are returning from Hawaii with the information that Trump promised 5 years ago concerning Obama's birth certificate??????????????? Or will those papers be stapled to Trump's tax returns????

Of course not. I'm also not asking the American people to give me access to spend the collected tax money.

Until now, it hasn't been necessary to make an amendment to the Constitution to get Presidential candidates to release their tax returns, but I do understand there may be a Senate bill designed to do exactly that. Every single Presidential candidate since the 1970s have released their tax returns. It looks shady not to release them. There's no other way to view Trump not releasing his returns. If there is nothing to hide, he should release them. If he doesn't, it appears he has things he is hiding from the other tax payers.

Actually, there are many different ways to view Trump not releasing his returns.

I personally couldn't care less how much money any of the candidates make, much less how much money Uncle Sam is squeezing out of them. It's none of my business, and I feel no need to make it my business unless a candidate is convicted of tax evasion or fraud. Furthermore, I seriously doubt Trump does his own taxes - if I were in his shoes I would hire a top notch accountant to handle them for me.
