    Not even your god, tRUMP.
    He didn't listen to him.
Instead his goes to trade wars and tariffs. A failed policy from the past.

    Thanks Nixon.
Why would he ever start talks with communists?

It was the depths of the cold war with bernie’s beloved societ union

Nixon wanted china as a hedge against russia and india

But the chinese wanted someghing from us too

Namely our industrial base and clinton and free trade repubs gave it to them

    Free trade repubs.
That's all they ever were. All about the corporations.

Yes, clinton could not have done it alone

    He needed republican cooperation

The buffett plan absolutely depends on tariffs

under his plan when a foreign company imports US goods or services they are issued import credits that exempt them from the high tariffs

Those credits can be sold or bartered on the world market

but without the import credits tariffs absolutely will be imposed on foreign goods

Oh my. You call your self a conservative?
Did you vote for Reagan and didn't even know his platform?
Everybody in this country over the age of 40, knows this was Reagan's and the R party's baby.

    Negotiation, ratification, and revision (1988–94)
The impetus for a North American free trade zone began with U.S. President Ronald Reagan, who made the idea part of his campaign when he announced his candidacy for the presidency in November 1979.[17]

    He campaigned on it.
I won't take the time to educate you, I think it would be a waste.

But if you are interested, the link I posted to you give details. It was his baby.

Like many reagan ideas NAFTA might have been ok if reagan had designed it rather than merely proposing
