U.S. Military Can't Even Fight One War Today

Actually, in the event of a North Korean conflict, China would likely remain neutral.

South Korea has become a major trading partner with China, while North Korea has been an embarasment to them. Their war mongering talk the last 20 years has done nothing but destabilize the region, and interfere with trade. I bet they would mostly seal the border, maybe give amnesty to some of the senior leaders but that would be about it.

With the reign of King Kim III, there is little doubt to anybody that North Korea is "Communist" in name only. All it is is another monarchy, disguised as Marxist.

Russia can't even afford to keep the Russian Military in Syria right now as Putin ordered them to come home....never mind Russia being able to afford to build bases in Vietnam or anywhere else for that matter.

I have been saying for MONTHS that Putin would eventually drop support for Syria and drop Assad like a Hot Potato but even I was surprised at how SOON and how QUICKLY that Putin would pull out of Syria.

This pull out shows us just how BAD the situation is as far as the Collapsing Russian Economy.

The Russian Economy was at $2.3 Trillion in 2014 and fell to $1.4 Trillion in 2015....and it is still falling!!

That is a 40% FALL in the Russian GDP in only 1 YEAR!!!

Imagine if the $18.9 Trillion U.S. Economy FELL 40%!!!?????...if it FELL to $11.34 TRILLION IN ONE YEAR???

People in the U.S. and all around the WORLD would be FREAKING OUT!!

The Global Economy would COLLAPSE!!

The Economies of China, the E.U., Russia, Canada, Mexico....and every single other Nation on Earth would COLLAPSE.....if the U.S. Economy took a 40% HIT like the Russian Economy did from 2014 to 2015!!!!

This collapse would occur simply because ever single Nation's Economy on Planet Earth is either directly or indirectly tied to the U.S. Economy.

But Russia lost 40% of it's GDP because Putin was an idiot and annexed the Crimea which resulted in the U.S. and Canada increasing Oil Production and completely flooding the worlds Oil Market.

This caused Oil to drop in price from it's one time over $100 a Barrel down to below $29 a barrel.

At that point the Russian Economy COLLAPSED back in 2014 and the Ruble was rendered worthless as NO ONE would accept the Ruble as payment.

So the World Bank and IMF came in and assigned the U.S. Dollar and U.S. Treasury as Russia's Emergency Currency and Exchange.

Can you IMAGINE how much it must have burned Putin's ass for Russian's having no choice but to walk around with a bunch of................George Washington's, Jefferson's, Lincoln's, Hamilton's, Jackson's, Grant's and Benjamin Franklin's in the POCKETS and POCKETBOOKS of the Russian People as well as HIMSELF??? LOL!!

Nothing could possibly be more embarrassing and humiliating for Putin than the fact he and the Russian people had to for awhile use UNITED STATES CURRENCY until Putin finally pulled out Spetsnaz which he had deployed all along the Northern Black Sea Shoreline as we demanded he pull them out before the U.S. and Canada lower Oil production.

After Putin had used Spetsnaz to create an INSURRECTION in the Crimea which allowed Putin and Russia to annex the Crimea.....Putin then got GREEDY as Putin sent in a large number of Spetsnaz and positioned them all along a swath of the Ukraine's Northern Black Sea Shoreline.

You see Putin was so caught up in the RUSH of being able to pull one over the United States after he annexed the Crimea....Putin then got greedy and positioned Spetsnaz to create ANOTHER insurrection in a swath of territory in the Ukraine that once annexed WOULD DIRECTLY CONNECT THE CRIMEA TO RUSSIA BY LAND!!!

The United States KNEW that Spetsnaz was deployed within that swath of the Ukraine and we KNEW what Putin intended to do and we let it be known that if Putin did attempt to annex more of the Ukraine that the U.S. and Canada would increase Oil Production even to an even greater extent.

But even when we let Putin know that we would do that Putin STILL BADLY wanted the Crimea to be directly connected to Russia so Putin waited and gambled that OPEC would vote to LOWER OIL PRODUCTION!!!

I watched Putin on TV in real time as Putin watched OPEC vote as Putin fully intended to have Spetsnaz begin another insurrection in the Ukraine to allow Russia to annex even more of the Ukraine....BUT....as I watched Putin watch Saudi Arabia vote.....the moment Saudi Arabia voted NO....as far as NO....Saudi Arabia voted to NOT lower Oil Production....this of course leading to OPEC voting to NOT lower Oil production....at that moment I saw in Putin's eye's both SHOCK and DISAPPOINTMENT.

You see Putin could not believe that even though Saudi Arabia was losing money selling Oil so cheaply with the price of Oil so low and with the worlds oil supply and market FLOODED with much more oil supply than demand called for....it was at that moment that Putin came to realize the full extent of the United States' ability to control how OPEC votes and control OIL PRICES.

At that moment Putin knew he had no choice but to remove Spetsnaz from along the Northern Black Sea shoreline....as Putin's dreams of the Crimea being directly connected by land to Russia ended.

This is a PRIME EXAMPLE of how U.S. ECONOMIC POWER AND POLITICAL INFLUENCE are able to overcome MILITARY ACTION.

It is also an example of how considering the TRIFECTA of U.S. Economic, Political and last but not least...MILITARY POWER.....is simply too great for any Nation or even any Group of Nations to ignore as when any Nation might contemplate some form of Military Action.....they must also consider..."What will the American's do if we do....this?"

Before any of this started many Pro-Putin members on this forum were saying...."Russia will do what Russia and what Putin want it to do and because Russia does not import or export anything from or to the United States and because Russia has a large Military....there is NOTHING the United States can do to stop or effect Russia. And Russia will laugh at any Sanctions the U.S. places upon Russia!"

And you know what....Russia and Putin did laugh at the limited sanctions imposed upon it by the U.S. and E.U.

So since that didn't work....we did something that Putin never expected.....WE FLOODED THE WORLDS OIL MARKET!! LOL!!

When all those NSA Documents were released because of that Traitor....and that data went on Wikilinks....there was a document released which detailed what was being talked about between the U.S. and China as the U.S. told China it had better get a LEASH on North Korea after North Korea began making insane statements that it wanted to Nuke Washington DC.

The Chinese Ambassador and his Team were embarrassed in the extreme as they profusely apologized to the United States for the North Korean Dictators statements about destroying Washington with Nuclear Weapons.

The U.S. Ambassador said to the Chinese contingent..."You do realize that such statements are in fact a DECLARATION OF NUCLEAR WAR and if it was any other Nation making these threats that the United States Military would be right now wiping be that nation off the face of the Earth!?"

The Chinese continued to profusely apologize and said...."We understand the U.S. has been more than patient and China also agrees that these statements by North Korea are unconscionable and China promises to do everything in it's power to reign in the North Korean Leadership."

The U.S. Ambassador said...."Well...we hope so!! Because one day this little maggot is going to go too far and YOU in China will be the one's seeing a Thermonuclear Fireball that was once Pyongyang!!!"

When a unemployed person run's out of Benefits they are no longer counted in the system!!

Unemployment is way too high and the current stat's are based upon false data.

'Too big to fail' doesn't just apply to government agencies. They are indistinguishable in real life. Actually they don't have to remain responsive, and they only have one incentive, which is themselves. they usually hire PR and marketing people to manage other peoples' responsiveness to their needs. Government management can be changed every couple of years in most cases. The local govt. managers and the pols in charge of them here are more responsive to my questions than the head of General Electric or Exxon-Mobil is to my concerns. Same for my state and Federal pols. Maybe your pols just suck at management and constituency servicing, but it's not the case everywhere.

There isn't any other kind of capitalism.

The military is a political topic. Whether somebody chooses to admit that or not is up to them. Right wingers cause as many problems as anybody else when it comes to military issues and budgets and readiness. What you really mean is somebody disagreed with you on something you brought up and you don't like it, that's all. That's fine, others are free to respond and express their views whether or not anybody else likes it or not.

As for right wingers, their ideology has led to as many readiness problems as any 'leftist' ideology has; it did so at the outbreak of two world wars as two major examples in this century, and budget cuts, spending on unneeded gear, etc., etc. all across the board, so let's not pretend otherwise; they shovel pork and cost overruns at projects as fast as any moderate or 'librul' does.

Re: Trump, CNN just reported that retired Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn has been advising Trump on national security issues. I can sleep better at night knowing that.

Lt. Gen. Flynn was purged from the military by the Obama White House because he was "STUNNED" that Obama said he didn't have a strategy for fighting ISIS.

You see, Obama ignores his military advisors and instead Obama has these six star generals like Gen. Valerie Jarrett and Gen. Susan Rice in charge of our PC military and national security.
