I'll show you all ME countries that have the leader family related to the leading clan/tribe or coalition of them united by religion or myth - as they always ruled for centuries, so to me its part of the culture and it comes from the ppl, you cant live in Patriach society and expect that as far as politics are concerned they are all so very open minded and liberal, it comes from root.
You give too much credit to such support. they supply guns that's impportant I agree but its the ppl that use the guns and the US has no support in the Arab street, pretty much everything they do support is hated - so again its the ppl that lead a certain political party and fight for it, powers can balance the tip but I would'nt go as far as say "they are to blame for it".

You are aware of the multiple UNSC resolutions that make any iranian weapons transfers illegal, aren't you?

Its hilarious, the US haters attack the US with no thought whatsoever; the US interferes and forces these countries to be anti-democratic - then they claim how the US is so hated, well which is it? How can the US have so much leverage and ability to affect them if they are hated and not respected? Who in these countries will listen to the US if they hate them so much?

Its like the same crap about the jews; the are communists and capitalists, depending upon the post.

Those forces are almost universally non-democratic, who need an endless war ("We are fighting east-asia, we have always been fighting east-asia!") to divert their public from the horrendous living conditions they must suffer in their countries, especially iran.

No. Do you have a link? As well, could you please respond to the message rather than just criticizing the source? This shooting the messenger without confronting the message is just too easy, as well as tiresome.

Syrians have Christian relatives in Assad's prison so he is holding their relatives hostage. Read what Syrian Christians in the US and Jordan are saying.

Well they seem to be succeeding with their 'propaganda' since you don't have any coherent response to it.

I'm advocating for neither. It's clear OP is prostituting to someone. Every day... thread after thread after tread. One day it was something like 4 or 5 on the first page, all from Margot about Assad and how evil he is. Who does that absent an agenda? I don't give a hell about who's slaughtering who.

Every idiot supporting an overthrow of regimes over there just tell it how it is. You don't give a crap about human life. If you did, you'd be for going into Africa, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, BACK INTO LYBIA TO FIX THE CESSPOOL WEVE CREATED. But no.... plebs against Assad don't do that do they. Hypocrites.

And what's real? I don't know.... too much misinformation out there, and it's been shown we do more harm then good. But OP HAS to be a paid shill. It's NONSTOP anti-Assad with this "person."

Perhaps, but I would never make a statement without some clear evidence to support any claims I might make. This sort 'hit and run' strategy is better suited to a schoolyard.

Then it may be time to just ignore posts when the subject arises rather than just throw unsubstantiated barbs from a distance.

What's the saying: fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on you and me; fool me thrice, shame on me? After Iraq, Libya, and Syria, those who imagine they can pull the same old script, this time against a country like Iran with a population more than twice that of all 3 of the those countries combined, are probably day dreaming. But then again, regrettably, the American public has probably passed the point of being ashamed anyway. A good part of the American public operate on auto pilot, following whatever program which is implanted for them. For that reason, while I would like nothing more than to see Iran and the US genuinely reconcile their differences, and forge the kind of mutually beneficial relationship which is easily available to them if both sides really tried, I am afraid when I look at the vested interests who want to make sure that never happens and the fact that both sides have plenty to complain about the other, I have to say that the prudent thing for Iran is to fasten its seat belts and make sure it is prepared for the worse. And not give into any more demands unless it can be sure that it is in fact getting something worthwhile in return.

Spare us Margot. The US Gov't called Saud out over its teaching of hate after 911.

The fact that Saud teaches hate in its schools has been proven to you six ways to Sunday from many different credible sources. Not credible to you of course because anything that says anything bad about your beloved Saud is automatically not credible.

Further the WIKI article in question cites numerous sources, thus, your claim about WIKI is fallacy.

Did you read those sources ? Sources which show actual Saudi Textbooks.

Pull that head of yours out of the sandbox of denial. You have zero credibility in relation to anything about Saud. You have been proven wrong so many times on so many issues in relation to Saud that you are well beyond having any credibility in relation to the Saud.

    Says who, you?

Because I gave one person charity I must give all? Is that the "reasoning" you're presenting here? The US will intervene when it has a strategic interest and can also save lives, both of which applied and do apply in syria. The middle of africa in its deserts with massive overpopulation are really not of strategic importance to the US, so an intervention can't be justified, on a number of fronts.

Libya is on the Europeans' shoulders, not the US, who was dragged into helping them.

BTW, if the US doesn't take action, who do you expect will come help? russia? The chinese? UN? Get real.

The usual sidestepping nonsense avoiding iran's cancerous impact in the mideast, which has nothing to do with the US, but only for extending its imperialism/colonialism that iran has its proxy armies stationed across the region, de-stabilizing countries.

When the day occurs that the US and sunnis crush iran - and mark my words, that day is not far off - think of all those people tortured, slaughtered and suicide bombed by iran's hands, which are covered in the blood of many hundreds of thousands.

The world and iran will end their hostility when iran decides to act like a civilized nation, remove it current diseased, fake regime, end its terrorism and support for terrorist groups, and implements fundamental changes to its perception of how much influence it should have in the world.
