Don't pay any attention to these jerks, Arch... I no longer do. In the interest of merely providing persperctive to the discussion, I posted a rare image of a World War II-era Galician flag with a swastika on it. :cynic:

The next thing you know, I'm assailed by a gaggle of half-wits who have me being everything from some kind of Russia 'troll' (named 'Boris', no less), to some kind of Nazi ("Heil Hitler...:)").... A bit of a stretch, to say the least....

Anyone who cannot fathom the differences between historical Russia and historical Germany juxtaposed with those countries as they are today is simply wasting our time, but unfortunately, there's no shortage of such mentalities in 2019.

Ah, what a terrible thing we did when we let the public 'education' systems in this country go straight to hell starting forty years ago, and I still think it would be better for the country if people had to PROVE that they have at least a triple-digit IQ before being allowed to vote.

If we were able to travel back in time, meet some Nazis and ask them what they feel when they see a modern Russian flag they’d tell you that they feel nice and warm because that is the flag of the friendly force.

Russia had way more Nazi collaborators than Ukraine.
    Deal with it!

Sure, Boris, you posted a flag of a Ukrainian region for no reason.
Lay down that vodka and eat some pan-fried potatoes with sardines in tomato sauce. That will clear it up for you!

Oh how sweet....a little hugfest between 2 trolls. Well as I said before....the truth hurts I guess, but keep your head in the sand, I won't hold it against you.

You pay no attention to us....but really never miss a chance at some lame rebuttal.....obviously a nerve was hit here and it bothers you to no end. Keep drinking that rotgut samogon & boyarschniki, it suits you.

Hey clueless, this is the flag of the USSR in WW2:

Not the white, blue, and red.

Russia has been helping keep Germany in check since the mid-1700s when Germany was the Kingdom of Prussia and Russia was the Russian Empire. Upwards of 25 million Russians died in WW2 so I doubt there was a lot of Nazi sympathizers during the war.

Why don't you get yourself a Nazi flag and walk the streets of Volgograd to test your theory.

Russians don't have a memorial for General Vlasov. Americans do have.
It's in New York. The US flag is first. Speaks for itself.

I wonder why хохломрази are so obsessed about Vlasov? He was a traitor, high ranking traitor. It's a well known historical fact. His divisions used the flag of Russian empire and of Russian republic of Contemporary Govermnment of 1917. But so what? Yemelyan Pugachev, the famous rebel, who managed to arrange the full scale civil war against the Catherine II, called himself the emperor Peter III. But that didn't make him the real Peter III. Hitler used pretext of liberation of Russians from Jewish-Bolshevik dictatorship, which didn't make him any sort of liberator. And swastika on the Nazi flag is also a very ancient symbol, which appeared very long before Hitler and his deadly ideology. Nazis simply stole the symbol of life, of sun and so on from ancient peoples of India, Asia. First images of swastika are 5-8 thousand years old. Does that mean that those ancient peoples were Nazis? Of course not, it's complete nonsense.
And such memorials for Nazi collaborators are impossible in Russia. In 1946 Soviet military court deprived Vlasov of all his awards and titles and sentenced him to be hung until dead.

LOL....I don't think it matters where the memorial is....NYC, Moskva, Or where ever.

What matters is what's flying above the Kremlin, and the current flag of the RF.....speaks for itself.

    Hmm... @zoom_copter66 and @Thedimon .... 'two peas in a pod'? Siamese-twins? The same poster...?!:party::roflol:

In their oddly-similar, near-identical construction, am I "Boris", "Hitler", or what? Talk about hitting a NERVE. Man, you guys have nearly soiled your trousers over an image of an old World War II era flag -- what was your reaction to the resurgance of neo-Nazis in Kiev and old "Galicia"...? "An apple never falls from the tree...." -- Ralph Waldo Emmerson, 1839.

Well, that old flag was such a hit with the 'retard' sector, now they may enjoy these much more recent ones... nicht war?

Personally, I find this whole idiotic propaganda battle over the Ukraine just plain disgusting. Truth? Which truth? The truth is completely unimportant in this mess.

Yes, the Ukrainians also have Nazis and they are also partly in parliament. Of course, this is like a prayer praised by the pro-Russian Ukrainians to discredit the whole Maidan uprising and to justify the struggle of the Russian people in the Donbass and the annexation of Crimea ... because it is against evil Nazis.
Only ... in Russia there are also enough Nazis running around with swastika and SS runes and some groups are also fighting in Eastern Ukraine to support their Russian brothers. It's ridiculous when you accuse each other of being a Nazi and fighting Nazi against the Nazis!

You have always been an intelligent poster, Mandelus, and I think we both know that anytime Putin would want to, he could go swooping into Kiev and get rid of the entire pantheon of rotten, corrupt criminals there -- "Nazi" and otherwise!

It has been obvious for some time now that Putin has a long-range plan to reconstruct the better portions of the old "Soviet Union" (as he clearly sees it), and he's cleverly working his strategy with great patience and intelligence.

To thwart the ambitions of the IMF and the European Central Bank after the 2014 coup, he had to secure Crimea and protect Russia's stake in the Black Sea while protecting the Russian Navy's Black Sea Fleet -- to say nothing of preserving Russia's only warm-water port through the Bosporous Strait and the Dardanelles.... Now, Vlad has gone on a clever, 'soft' offensive against "the West", and his masterstroke has been the two-pronged successes of a much closer alliance with China and its highly-successful Belt-and-Road initiative, plus, providing Germany (the only vitally-important player in the EU) with ultra-cheap energy through Nord Stream II.

In a way, it's almost hilarious. At this rate, Putin and Xi Jinping will totally control everything of importance in the entire Eastern Hemisphere before long, while here in "the West" we're fighting each other like mad dogs, obsessed with idiotic, politically-correct issues, trying to impose even more 'Socialism-lite' on nations built on Capitalism, and importing even more 'migrants' from shithole countries. I cannot help but wonder how much longer it will be until Germany, once again, says, "Enough!"

The "same" poster?? Hardly.....just 2 people who happen to agree on the same issue. Much to your chagrin.

I'm not "soiling" anything....I just find it amusing for trolls to post pics of a few wing nuts waving a flag of the wolfs hook 2SS Panzer Das Reich....and proceed to paint all of Ukraine as such. Meantime ignoring the current RFs trip color flags dubious past of the RF Liberation Army's connection with Vlasovs.
It's funny where ever you see some monument to it, or reference of any kind, youll happen to see the RF tri color!!

Face it.....most vatnik cannot stomach anything that glorifies Ukraine history or independence , or Baltics or anything in its "sphere"....!

Crimea is Russian?? What a joke?
    Konigsberg is Russian.....equally a joke.

    Alaska is Russian??.....wait....they have nukes?☹️LOL.

Putinka a clever guy?? Really? He speaks multiple languages, and holds as many degrees and PhDs?? List them?

Boris, stop wacking off to the image of the good old USSR. It’s not coming back.
Judging from what you wrote here I suggest you to sober up.

China has absolutely no reason or benefit to team up with Russians. In fact, Chinese took a chunk of Russia and your beloved Pootin quietly made it legal.

Hey, russian trolls bring up SS Galichina and I bring up Vlasov to even the field and bring things into perspective.
Russians still live in WWII. If it wasn’t for them no one would bring this up.
By the way, I remember back in the 90s and early 2000s Russians claimed that people from Baltic states are Nazis too. Ohh, and Poland was subject to as much assault and disinformation before entrance into EU as Ukraine is now.

(*Sigh!*) I'll try to keep it simple...

Crimea became part of Russia in 1783. Possession of it transferred from the Russia Empire to the Soviet Union after the fall of the
Czar, and then there was a transfer in 1954 within the Soviet Union by Khrushchev that gave "title" to Crimea to Ukraine, while still remaining within the Soviet Union, of course. You still with me...?

Alaska? We purchased it in 1867. Done deal. Nobody has their 'knickers in a knot' over Alaska... why do you...? And Königsberg is part of Russia today, and has been for a long time. They call it the 'Kaliningrad Oblast'... are the Germans threatening to take it back? I haven't heard about it if they have.... Right now the Germans and the Russians are very much in bed with each other because of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.... :couple_inlove:

Don't take my word for it (no real danger of that, I'm sure). But, on your own, where nobody can watch you, examine Vladimir Putin's accomplishments since he took power in Russia, remembering that he doesn't give a sh!t about you, me, or anybody in "the
    West"
. What he cares about is what's good for Mother Russia... to a man like him, nothing else matters! And if you're purely honest about it instead of continually going off on sarcastic tantrums, you'll have to admit that he's done a pretty damned good job -- for Mother Russia, and for himself. Look -- If you don't learn to respect an opponent's abilities and judge him objectively, you're almost certainly going to underestimate him... and doing that with men like Putin, OR Xi Jinping of China, could be a fatal mistake....

Do one other thing for me, please, while you're at it. Honestly compare and contrast Putin and Xi with "W" Bush and Obama. Do THAT and then tell me you're still so high-and-mighty about how we in "the West" are doing, and how badly Putin is doing. Have fun!

The correct spelling of the word is "whacking", not "wacking". Master the simple elements in your equally simple world, Dimmy, and you'll feel more in command of your situation, no doubt. Have a lovely day....
