Ukraine will become a developed country. Thanks to the Americans. They drove the Russians out of Germany and Ukraine. Under the new laws of Ukraine, we can catch up with Poland in development. Ukrainian first-graders may no longer learn Russian, but can develop Ukraine and learn Ukrainian well.

It can't have helped that the communists wiped out a significant portion of the entrepreneurial class. It takes generations to recover from that.

It's very hard to say whether Ukraine has the potential to become as developed as Russia, or Poland.

However, one would think it should at least be possible to catch up with its neighbor to the south, Romania.

    Ukraine is a region,

    never a "nation"

    From its' inception,
when threatened it moved to Novgorod to avoid an ass whipping.
They be, the Rus. As in Russia.

Ukraine deserves a safe space from
    Western Polish Roman Catholic agitators.

Yep. The Ukies are minority Cossacks. There's a reason it was called Kievan Rus for centuries...not "Kyivan".

If our stupid ass U.S. politicians keep sending 'infrastructure' aid to Ukraine then after the corrupt turds that are Ukrainian politicians divert most of it to their pockets, maybe there will be a little left over to do some good but I doubt it. U.S. taxpayers sent $500 million to Ukraine in the last few years 'to rebuild the infrastructure in the Donbass region'. Of course the Ukrainian government doesn't even control that region, so it's just a big scam. When I was there last year I counted a dozen new mid and high rise condo projects under construction thanks to your tax money.

I don't believe that's really true. The Cossacks were mostly pushed out and overwhelmed by an influx of ethnic peoples equivalent to Russians centuries ago. Especially during the time of Catherine the Great. The Ukrainians and Russians are essentially ethnically identical. (Although there may be somewhat of a spectrum)

Technically you're correct about being ethnically similar or even identical for most of them. @Moi621 's map above makes my point. Ukrainians have fallen for the fake news propaganda of their local politicians who use them as pawns to line their pockets and political gain. If there is or was a true 'Ukrainian', then they are descendants of the Cossack minority. The vast majority of the peoples in 'Ukraine' are Russian....even though some are too stupid to realize it.

Ukrainian and Russian are also extremely similar languages, almost just different dialects of the same language.

Lol.....spoken like a true Asiatic Katsap......this so called "region" you talk about existed long before Moscow/Muscovy/ Russia itself was even an entity.

Moscow was a big swamp with bears ****ing in the woods nearby.....what inhabitants there were , were licking the boots clean off of Ghengis Khan and his tribe.

Moskolia is an Asiatic fiefdom....it has no ****ing European roots whatsoever.

Provide accurate #s for this vast majority Archie.....last I checked 78% identified as Ukranian....21% as Russki vatniks. Let's not forget about the great famine the Georgian idiot Koba gruzin instigated that wiped off millions.

Seems you get your info from some brick **** house walls like Pravda or RT.....probably why you were banned once before.:)).
