AI is often right, and more often it sources it's claims of fact. Science is using AI for all sorts of things. Where style and a particular point of view doesn't matter, where data is all that matters, AI often does the job nicely. But, it can be wrong so one must verify claims of facts. This is done usually when the AI provides sourcing, that the data is sourced by annotation, hotlinking, and the like.

I believed that the clause in the italicized output which said the protocol for background check for illegals was as the AI stated, but upon verification, the AI output didn't source that one like I thought it did. So, on that point, you do have a point, there is no protocol to background check an illegal that i could find. It's not that there isn't, it's a moot point because of it being illegal to allow an undoc to own a gun.

However, since the judge just ruled on the unconstitutionality of that law, the ATF will have to revise that policy if the undoc who now owns a gun has to be subject to a background check.
