    Same old pseudo-Jewish exclusivity rhetoric.
Jerusalem is illegally occupied and Gaza is a prison. The Resolution reflects that.
The world does not believe in Israel.

Little by little, the world is becoming less antisemitic and more anti-Islamo-terrorist. A progress is a ndenable, moon :)

"Despite its ultimate approval, the resolution passed this Tuesday was approved with a small majority relative to other recent UNESCO resolutions on Israel, a fact that Prime Minister Netanyahu described as a positive change.

“The number of countries that support this absurd proposal at UNESCO is shrinking; a year ago it was 32, six months ago it dropped to 26, and it now dropped to 22, but I want us to move forward and to continue making an effort,” said Netanyahu during an Independence Day reception with Israeli diplomatic staff.

Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely criticized UNESCO for continuing to “falsify history” and applauded the countries that voted against the resolution"

The Empire Files: Home Demolitions for Illegal Settlements Surging

"The demolition of Palestinian homes for Israeli settlements reached a ten-year high in 2016. While this activity led by the fanatical settler movement is illegal under international law, it is completely aided and abetted by the Israeli government. With hundreds on notice to be evicted and their homes destroyed, Abby Martin goes on-the-ground throughout the West Bank investigating this dire human rights situation. She speaks to residents living under regular settler attacks from encroaching settlements and outposts illegal even under Israeli law, and sees first-hand how this crisis is worsening. http://multimedia.telesurtv.net/v/the..."

The Empire Files: Israeli Army Vet’s Exposé - “I Was the Terrorist”

"In a rare, candid conversation, Abby Martin interviews a former Israeli Army combat soldier who served as an occupier in Palestine’s Hebron City. Eran Efrati spent years as a sergeant and combat soldier in the Israeli military, but has since become an outspoken critic of the occupation of Palestine and Israeli apartheid. Efrati gives explosive testimony on the reality of his service and explains how war crimes are institutionalized, as well as how systematic the oppression against Palestinians really is in a war of conquest that will no-doubt be accelerated under the Trump Administration."

On Israel’s 69th Independence Day, the executive board of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) voted on a new anti-Israel resolution denying Israeli sovereignty over Jerusalem. During its the 201st session, a total of 22 states among the 58-member board voted in favor of the resolution, 10 voted against, 23 abstained, and three were absent.

As Abba Eban once said "If Algeria introduced a resolution declaring that the earth was flat and that Israel had flattened it, it would pass by a vote of 164 to 13 with 26 abstentions" :roflol:

The eyes of the world are slowly opening:

    http://ifamericaknew.org/stat/homes.html

"Homes Demolished in Israel and Palestine
0 Israeli homes have been demolished by Palestinians,
and over 48,488 Palestinian homes have been demolished
    by Israel since 1967."

Israeli apartheid no longer goes unnoticed in the US, particularly among the young.
If Israel doesn't find the courage to choose between a Jewish state or a democratic state very soon, it will vanish from the page of time (again).:)

An interesting observation: While Israel is making progress in science, medicine, and technology, its neighbors seem to be focusing on its destruction. It appears as though Israelis have learned to succeed by building up and those focused on destruction can't seem to make progress for their people. It makes me wonder if those on that side actually care about their people.

    Here's another comparison for you:

In 2007, Islam and Judaism's holiest holidays overlapped for 10 days. Muslims racked up 397 dead bodies in 94 terror attacks across 10 countries during this time... while Jews worked on their 159th Nobel Prize.

Who do you think is more beneficial to the human race?

    That's right.

Meh. Israel is more and more turning into a paria state. They got busted with their ways of making it hard for human rights organisations to even be in Israel by revoking visa's. Their latest thing was saying... I think to the german minister of foreign affairs, that if they talked to one of them, than Netanyahu would deny a talk with them. The German minister picked going to B'tselem and Breaking the Silence over Netanyahu. Israel now is busy kicking out a Dutch reporter, because he too is "too critical".

yeah.. they love free speech in that apartheid nation.

Ah I do not like your obvious bias.. But your message overall.. Sure

    I do believe in Israel.

but... Jerusalem is not just a special place... It is an ancient and mystical?, place and I personally believe that it should be bereft of any type of ownership. I think it's silly Israel or anyone to feel entitled to claim any part of such a revered holy place for so many in this age.

OK thankssss OP now I have to go watch Kingdom of Heaven for the 13th time.. :dual:

    Jerusalem!!!!!

Well you should tell the Israelis that. They think that antisemitism is on a massive ascendancy and not only that they think that all Jews are responsible for what Israel does. That is why they believe discussing the Israeli/Palestine issue is antisemetic. That itself is antisemetic stereotyping all Jews like that.

Fewer than 0.2% of all people are Jewish. Of that 0.2% - 43% live in Israel or occupy Palestine illegally.
It is because they occupy Palestine illegally that they are responsible for half of the world's problems.

The other 57% ? Salaam alaikum.

Muslims feel entitled to Al Aqsa, and look what they've done to it!

Let them loose in Jerusalem and bye bye a a revered holy place.

Success at what price? I couldn't give a flying fart how many Nobel laureates Israel has, it's their actions vis-a-vis Palestine which should be abhorrent for any decent person. Land theft, brutalizing Gaza, home demolition at random, evictions to replace Arabs with Jews, armed guards in watchtowers, 30-foot walls, control of food, water and power, medical supplies, illegal settlement building and territorial expansion, serial commission of war crimes. The list goes on. Who on earth but a lover of fascism and belligerent authoritarianism could support that?

Well, that the world is becoming a better place is not the reason to stop fighting anti-Semitism. If anything, more effort is needed.
