For starters even within Israel proper there is a big difference between nationality and citizenship. Its complicated legal mumbo jumbo. You'd have to read it for yourself, but its easy to find.

I think the money collected for arms in the US were called "blue boxes" or pushke.. The Jewish refugees formed their terror groups by 1922.

Isn't it ironic how the right-wing criticizes Israel's opponents as 'terror enablers' yet both NORAID and 'pushke' (puszka 'can/canister' in Polish), were doing far worse by supplying arms and cash to terrorists?

Yes, names and addresses would be nice. Now that I think of it, we're told that the woman took her goats near a Jewish settlement, but we're not told the name of the settlement. I'll watch again the video when I have more time to spare, to check if we have been told at least the name of the woman or the name of the place where the alleged beating took place. I say "alleged" because the image is very blurred.

There's absolutely no proof in the video that the attackers were Israeli settlers, or Jews.

I know ... I had made the appropriate effort about. I am wondering since then why Israel is called to be a full democratic legal state. ;-)

Give it up; there is a long history of 'settlers' attacking anyone who doesn't fit, and you know it, so quit trying to squirm your way out of it. It won't work. Why would the name of the 'settlement' help you? You would still try to justify, defend or find an excuse even if a 'settler' confessed!

My stepfather was a Polish Jew from Wroclaw, and 100% anti-Zionist. He was appalled by what Israel was doing. My family was Polish Catholic, as was my mother.

Your family must have suffered. Wasn't Poland anti-semitic in general?

Yes, very. My family (after my grandfather was murdered by the USSR for being a landowner), was exiled to Siberia by the invading Soviets to work as slave labourers building a railway. If you can find the long out of print book, 'Journey Without a Ticket', it tells the story of their exile, written by a school friend of my mother's who was with them. It contains a photo of my late mother too. https://www.amazon.co.uk/England-Through-Siberia-Journey-without/dp/0951588303
    It isn't light reading.

According to the law you cannot colonize occupied territory taken in conflict. The 1967 war was planned way in advance to gain land and water assets. The clearest evidence comes from Moshe Dayan. They carried out provocations for over a decade in Syria and Lebanon with purpose.

Its not part of Israel and not part of its legal system, the land - with the exeption of area A and B is under martial law and civilian mandate law, the settlers got in by tricking the Israeli law, no one figured it will grow as much as they did, in Hebron for example that once had a Jewish part that got massacred and evicted - a few fanatics tricked the army when they asked to pray during a holyday in Hebron and they never left, there is much to the story than Im telling but you can read about it, point is at the begining they were outlaws, as the movmnet gained more supporters and their numbers and settelments increased it also spilled into the main stream, the right wing that fought against the left wing control of the country (lasted 30 years) took it under their wing and when they won the elections they established the settlements are legit in terms of redeeming the land and in the continous fight against the Arabs.

So its a political issue not so much legal, proving Jewish rights in Hebron or Arab rights in the WB is futile when borders will be decided in a diplomatic agreement. meaning individual land owners will be part of some state.

Nah ... this is only the other extreme rating and point of view at least. Sorry to day, but the 1967 war had in reality another background.
Anyway ... we still had the discussion about conquered land and so on here. The problem is lesser to conquer the land as how to handle and act with the people which are conquered with the land.

Read what Moshe Dayan and Sharrett said about the run up to the war. I was listening to BBC, Voice of America most evenings and for years there were incursions to steal topsoil and small massacres ..

Ehm ... look on the raids coming from Syria, Egypt and Jordan into Israel too + the artillery attacks for the complete picture and don't exclude them or rate them only as "reaction" or something like this.

Fact is that Egypt planned a combined attack and even the Egyptian military conformed that later.

Nasser had called for a summit to resolve the issue with the Straits of Tiran.. Egyptian troops were deployed fighting a civil war in Yemen.

You are right about the irony, to many of us its a clear indipendance war of the Palestinians, you are wrong about the funds to the Etzel and Lehi, those cans went to the Yeshov leadership and Hagana once it was fromed, Ezel and Lehi got guns by their own way, the same terrorists get guns today. ofc you could claim all of the Yeshov are terrorists, I cant tell to which poster Im talikng these days :) lol.

It is all in the eye of the beholder, my friend. What you call sarcastic and irrelevant, others may find sarcastic and witty. As for the reasons to show up, mine are obvious - to make fun of these, who blame Israel for stealing breathing air from the Middle East Arabs.
