Unlike the President, most Americans know NFL kneelers aren't protesting the flag

It says shall or must, and tells them exactly how to stand and how to look and how to hold their helmet. The union has no appeal.

The millennials that they fooled are also getting older and realizing that there's a real world. Unfortunately, they don't grow up until after 30, but once they actually start voting, a large portion will change their views. They are relegating themselves to a regional party.

Why hasn't President Trump called for a meeting with the NFL and NBA players to listen to their concerns.

Sports Day reported the Cowboys-Packers game scored a 30.0 rating as roughly 794,550 fan households tuned in on Sunday in the Dallas area.

A year earlier, in the same Week 5 slot, a Cowboys-Packers game scored a 37.0 rating as roughly 979,945 fan households tuned in.

That is a loss of 185,395 fan households in one year's time, or 23%.

That is from 2016, a year in which the NFL games were down in television viewers.

Same game. Same week.Smaller audience.

Maybe Jerry Jones should not have led the team in kneeling before the game two weeks earlier.

Maybe the Cowboys should honor their country.

And maybe the Cowboys should stay out of politics.

Cowboys ratings have been down all season. Through five games last season, the Cowboys averaged a 31.5 rating. In 2017, they are at 30.3. That's 52,755 fewer homes tuning in. That's a decrease of 4 percent.But 80 percent of that drop came in Week 5.

GREEN BAY – To demonstrate unity, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers wants fans to join players Thursday night, locking arms in the stands during the national anthem at Lambeau Field.

Rodgers asked fans to lock arms as a show of togetherness instead of division. The request stemmed from what Rodgers called “a fantastic meeting” among players, discussing a wide range of topics he chose to keep private.

“I think there’s been a great sense of unity and love and support in this locker room,” Rodgers said, “guys coming together. Outside the building, I think the message has been diluted a little bit, and it’s been kind of taken away from what we were trying to do: show a united front, guys linking up together.”

Packers did not play cowboys week 5 last year.

They did play week 6.

This only states, not all linked arms.

 

Yet another person who seems to completely ignore the fact that America/The Constitution is NOT about conformity...it is about FREEDOM. Freedom to - legally - express your views about ANYTHING. To stand OR kneel or do ANYTHING else that is legal during the national anthem.
THAT is America.

Saying that people MUST 'stand respectfully and either salute if we are in uniform or place our right hand over our hearts' to respect the country is right out of North Korea.

That's not respecting America...that is disrespecting it.
