    Can you show in the list, that is opposite of pride, that disrespect is anywhere in the list?
    Can you come up with any list that shows where the opposite of pride has disrespect in it?

    You don't pick the time to protest when we should be honoring the flag or the anthem.

    • U.S. Flag = Unity
    • Anthem = Hope and Inspiration

    You are an jackhole if this is the moment you chose. Pick your spots better and the world won't tell you to go F yourself.

    I have turned off the NFL and I was a big fan.

    That works only if the people taking a knee were then hauled off to the pokey, and they're not. These guys of a surety have the freedom to express themselves with the knee, but the fans who ultimately are paying their salaries are ALSO free to express their opinions - either verbally or financially. And while NFL management may well personally agree with the players, they also pledge THEIR personal allegiance to The Almighty Dollar, and when that is threatened, you better believe management is gonna bring the hammer down on these guys.

    I ask you to recall The Curious Case of Marge Schott. Hey, she was free to express her views as well. She indeed had the freedom to express her views on anything as well - and she did, offensive as they were. Few people argued for her to stay after her numerous praises of Hitler and multiple racist utterances. But they wanted her gone. It's pretty much the same thing going on now. Marge was gonna be bad for business - out she goes. Ultimately, the same thing may well happen to these guys.

    Blacks have opportunity to succeed. What is really hurting them is Democrats who have pushed the Welfare State on them which hurts families. Also, Democrat run Public Education is also hurting them. If blacks as a group want to excel further, all they need to do is tell the Democratic Party to go F themselves and go with Vouchers and reject the Welfare State.

    How many years IS a typical NFL contract? Four years, more, less? I doubt it personally matters to them. It's the NEXT generation of players immediately following them that they're screwing like Weinstein on a starlet.
