I really have a problem with this.I flat out don't get.
This trend by Trendies that insist on living near downtown
or very close to downtown. These mainly 20-Thirtysomethings
are willing to buy { mortgage } a property { Old brownstones built
in the 30's or 40's } that have No yards to speak of and are
right next { just a few feet } from their neighbors.
And get this. They want anywhere from $ 500,ooo to around
a Million bucks for these Old Brownstone homes with old wood
floors and old plumbing and old electrics and small bathrooms and
kitchens yet high ceilings in small square rooms { Living room,
Dining room,Den }'Yet the basements are so low one can hardly move
around where it's cold and damp like some hovel.
I mean is this crazy er what.
ALL just so these Trendies can be close to work or where the
action is like little café or { Bookstores, antique stores, dress shops}.
Plus how can they possibly manage whatever huge mortgage
must be drawn-up in order to make a monthly payment.?

I don't understand city life period. I never seen how people can live right on top of one another. Give me some open space where I can breath.

I can see it but Definitely NOT at those Prices. It's Crazy.
No wonder Liberals/Trendies act the way they do.They payed
WAY too much for the privieldge of being a Liberal who got taken
to the cleaners on their Mortgage.
No No No.That could be it.I may have struck gold here on this.

I was going to comment on something, then it just turned into another liberal bashing thread. No thanks.
