If that's the case the US should have gone in full force when Assad's mass murdering was at its peak.

    "Partnership" as in how?

Uncle Adolf and Papa Joe were partners in crime before Barbarossa....how did that turn out?

There's no "partnerships"....Sobo. Just individual interests.....AfD in the end will find out just how far that partnership goes.

"We"....created....yes we "create" everything:rolleyes:...but usually the first to be called upon also.

Is Assad dangled back in 2016 and there was some stability, many Syrians would've returned by now.

How? And please don't be one of the idiots who claims that the Middle East was "stable" before the U.S. led invasion of Iraq.

Libya was richest country in africa and kept africans away. Now its failed state.

Iraq under Saddam posed no threat to Germany, now its collapsed and hell. Full of IS and other ****. USA spreads nothing than chaos. Stabilisation of Assad is a german core interest.

We wont support your failed experiments.

Yep. We bombed the crap out of it, rebuilt it on the tax-payers dime for awhile while fat contracts are handed out for past favors. It is as corrupt as any country. BUT, I love my country. I am a free man. I work hard and I am rewarded. When stuff goes wrong in my life it's on me. America is fantastic.

It's all about the money. Trump is surprisingly trying to fulfil his pre-election promises. All of them. Except for one - lowering the US debt.

After the collapse of soviet eastern european military block there was no threat to western europe from eastern direction. And the US investments into european bilitary build-up lost its sense. So current demands are only the start of american lowering of military presence in EU. Little by little europeans will have to remake their military power and the control of the US over european policy will concentrate on political control over Brussels bureaucracy. EU (basically Germany) is not refusing the US because they want peace. It's all about the money. If the money is invested now - it will support the US interests in ME at the expense of Germany, which doesn't look like a good deal at all. But certainly Germany would lilke to support its own interests over the world at its expense and by their military. Coming decade will see the rise of european military and divide between major european countries. Germany will play for EU-project. France will compete with Germany for the leadership there for France has already played a significant military role in Libya and Siria. They would try to maneuver between Germany and the US to their favour. The UK is left for the US presence and this special relationship with brexit has the only sense to let the US control the territory (easy to defend and preferable to control the skies over the EU) under american forces. With growing contradictions we will see completely new image of Europe. Besides in a couple of decades with a changed face of an average european we could see anything in a calm and prosperous region of the world.

I wish everyone to be healthy and happy. We are going to need some empathy in order not to break the whole planet because of some pieces of paper.

So Hitler's need for oil during WW2 and his push into the ME didn't contribute to the chaos?

The fox didn't do well in the desert. Generally the fauna of the West does not do well playing in the sand.

Fortunately for the allies Rommel did fail to secure the Suez Canal and the vast ME oil reservoirs. What Hitler did do was put the ME in the sights of industrialized countries who would exploit the ME countries for their oil. So it was actually Nazi Germany that started the chaos in the ME and not the US.

Yeah sure, we invaded Iraq, toppled Saddam, Gaddafi and financed a civil war in Syria. We installed the Shah in Iran and all that ****.

    No wait, it was you.

Germany doesn't want Germans in Syria?
I can see why ... they've got enough on their plate with Syrians in Germany.

Huh? Sykes-Picot was the West redrawing borders in the Mideast following WW1.

Furthermore, it was the Western powers that created the state of Israel following WW2.

So blame Hitler for the resulting chaos?

The US was not involved with helping to establish Israel after WW2. But I'm not sure what your statement has to do with Nazi Germany bringing attention to the oil in the ME?

The world didn't start after you were born. Your country has a history of creating chaos in the ME.

80 million people died during WW2 thanks to Germany. So long as the UN keeps it's thumbs on Germany the world will be safe. But I predict Germany will once again raise it's ugly head and continue with the WW it started in 1914.
