    Rebuilding a chemical weapons facility is going to hit Russian pockets for sure. It’s not same as repaving a runway.

    I pay thousands of dollars in taxes every year. As far as I’m concerned - these tamahawks are money well spent. And they are built in the US - the more we use on Assad the busier US workers are building new ones.

    Putin will need to rebuild half of Syria...he's dropped enough bombs, and killed enough civilians!

    Of course it makes no sense, but every accusation by the US makes no sense, yet the media blasts away. Of course the so called proof is never available, it's always classified.

    For years Lavrov has been working diplomatically bringing all the factions together for peace, and every time the US would destroy it. Why should this time be any different.

    I don’t know if @El Kabosh lives in the US, but every US taxpayer contributes to the military and has the right to cheer to anything US military does. I, as a US taxpayer, totally approve.

    What doesn't make any sense, Obama's regime change in Syria failed and Assad won. Why would Assad resort to using chemical weapons when he had all ready won ???

    Vladimir Putin, for eight years he played chess while Obama played checkers.

    I think Putin now has someone to play chess with, Donald Trump.

    I think Putin is happy playing chess with Trump than playing checkers with a loser like Obama who created the mess in the Middle East we see today.

    Obviously he did NOT bomb them and Trump bombed the site so that all the evidence would be destroyed.

    If these are limited strikes, the main issue will be the one that remained before the strikes in any case. How and when Iran will respond to Israel's attack on Syria's so-called T-4 airbase which killed 7 Iranian revolutionary guards? That attack, I am sure, will be avenged but when and how will be affected by the nature of the other actions being taken against Assad. If the attacks against Assad appear to be aimed at threatening his hold on power and preventing Syria from finding peace and security, then we will see the this powder keg blow up and Russia and Iran will be forced to act as well.

    For now, these have been limited strikes hitting 3 targets: "a scientific research centre near Damascus, a storage facility and command post also near the capital and a chemical weapons storage facility near Homs."

    The British hit Homs chemical weapons facility, where Israel hit the airport not too long ago... I wonder if they were exporting their chemical weapons... maybe to Yemen

    It's even worse if the strikes are against someone who is being unjustly demonized and accused so as to further the ambitions of some unscrupulous people. But then again they did it to Miloshevik and the Serbian people, so why not Assad and the Syrian people.

    I keep relating our actions to Nazi Germany, and the way people partied and cheered as their troops advanced and then came Stalingrad.
