The economy was roaring ahead, stronger and better than ever... then came the Chinese coronavirus...more lessons for the left, learn or go under.

If the economy was roaring ahead why was trump demanding fed rate cuts and ignoring the deficit?

    Do tell?

Do you have any idea what you currently owe?

Dear Obamaite... please bury your hypocrisy since you are part of the biggest paycheck the corrupt wall street bankers have ever received from the tax payers in 2008

So true. Glad this thread was brought back up. Trump’s policies created the best economy in generation. Only his leadership will be able to bring it back when the Chinese virus passes

Ah, unable to find any integrity and answer the question, you have instead have moved to personal comments... Cute

I wonder if people with your mantra realize they are wrong and just don't have the moral capability to admit it or if it is sheer ignorance?
Maybe a combination of the two?

Maybe you can answer since @scarlet witch bowed out ungracefully:

If the economy was roaring ahead why was trump demanding fed rate cuts and ignoring the deficit?

    Do tell?

Do you have any idea what you currently owe?

He wasn’t ignoring the deficit, in fact his budget balanced it in a few years.

the fed in its relief from getting obama out and trump in raised it to quickly and fast

He absolutely ignored the deficit, he has the power of veto. The fed does not have to inject billions into repo markets with a booming economy. It does not have to engage in QE. It does not have to lower rates to levels not seen outside of recessions.

trump could barely obtain growth seen prior to his administration even though he was racking up trillion dollar deficits every year.
Strange that so many of his supporters see this as winning — but most of you won’t be around to see the fallout or see the bill.

He only cut the rates to recession levels because of the Chinese virus.
His last budget proposal balanced it in a few years. So no he didn’t ignore it.

he has not had a trillion dollar deficits. This year will be due to the Chinese virus but that will be the first time since the Obama and Dem controlled congress

You mean due to the actions of the Bush administration?
Strange that you blame Obama for the housing crash but yet the total incompetence of this administration during this pandemic (the Democratic hoax if you are unsure which I am speaking of)...

    By fiscal year in billions...
    Obama: 2015: $442
    Obama: 2016: $585
    trump: 2017: $665
    trump: 2018: $779
    trump: 2019: $984
    trump: 2020: $1,083 + $2,200

He definitely looks like he is making a serious effort to pay it down...
Yes he ignored it, I can say I am not going to rob a bank but if I rob the bank it doesn’t matter what I said.
    Words are empty, actions matter.

Why do we need so much debt if the economy is doing so great?
Why wound the fed inject billions into the repo market?
