I am not worried at all that I am going to be mistaken for a muslim terrorist. If US muslims want to be seen as Americans and as opponents of radical violent Islam, then they better act accordingly. Instead, all they do is whine, sue when they are looked at sideways, and claim they are a minority and need special legal status so they can force airports and businesses to setup muslim foot washing areas and prayer rooms. Muslims can either assimilate or get out.

And which of your "violent right wing extremists" would I be associated with? Outside of the extremist "progressives" who try to associate everyone that disagrees with prog policies with ISIS and the devil, nobody is trying to associate conservatives with "violent right wing extremists".

Your attempt to equate everyone with US muslims is a farce. US muslims have a problem which they brought on themselves - they are associated with the violent muslims who rape, torture, enslave, crucify, behead, burn people alive. If the US muslims don't like it then they better distance themselves from their violent murderous brethren.

And ethnically cleanse them. You don't compile of list of all the Muslims in America for the (*)(*)(*)(*)s and giggles.

You're right wing. You should be out marching in the streets shouting "I love America!" and "death to abortion clinic bombers!" so you're not confused with extremists.

Post a video of your march. I'm sure everyone here would like to see it. Post the arrest and psychiatric evaluation too if they let you keep your phone in The Institution.

Which begs the question: Why allow them in the first place? US National Security supercedes the idea of our "morality". A family is not a group of strangers, but a tightknit brotherhood. That's also what is causing a great deal of fear. Islam is NOT a part of our American brotherhood. We know there are a few Christian nutters, but for every one of them we know that most Christians are generally peaceful and loving people.

The same is true for the Catholics, to the Protestants and even as we have learned recently: Yes, there's nothing to fear from the Mormon's religious faith. We also know that most atheists and agnosticism come from a place of philosophical faith, even if not spiritual faith. And while there are racists on all sides, we know that most sides exhibit tolerance and understanding.

But Islam has NEVER assimilated, Islam has no attempt of assimilating as it has not done in Europe or elsewhere. So, are we "the exception"? Not in the sense that it'd work, but I can say that we're exceptionally stupid. A database and monitoring these Mosques is the ONLY way to assure US National Security.

To protect our brotherhood from outsiders who have no intention of ever joining America. Hell, I'd kick them out if we could but we don't have the stomach for that. So the middle ground is the database.

Right wing extremists have not been attacking buildings with planes, shooting up soccer stadiums and concert halls, or suicide bombing anyone lately, like muslims have.

    Pulled from the web:

"Muslims are a problem in every country they move into; Islamization begins when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their religious privileges. When politically correct, tolerant, and culturally diverse societies agree to Muslim demands for their religious privileges, some of the other components tend to creep in as well.
    Here's how it works:

As long as the Muslim population remains around or under 2% in any given country, they will be for the most part be regarded as a peace-loving minority, and not as a threat to other citizens. This is the case in:

    United States -- Muslim 0.6%
    Australia -- Muslim 1.5%
    Canada -- Muslim 1.9%
    China -- Muslim 1.8%
    Italy -- Muslim 1.5%
    Norway -- Muslim 1.8%

At 2% to 5%, they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups, often with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs. This is happening in:

    Denmark -- Muslim 2%
    Germany -- Muslim 3.7%
    United Kingdom -- Muslim 2.7%
    Spain -- Muslim 4%
    Thailand -- Muslim 4.6%

From 5% on, they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. For example, they will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims.. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature halal on their shelves -- along with threats for failure to comply. This is occurring in:

    France -- Muslim 8%
    Philippines -- 5%
    Sweden -- Muslim 5%
    Switzerland -- Muslim 4.3%
    The Netherlands -- Muslim 5.5%
    Trinidad & Tobago -- Muslim 5.8%

At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves (within their ghettos) under Sharia, the Islamic Law. The ultimate goal of Islamists is to establish Sharia law over the entire world.

When Muslims approach 10% of the population, they tend to increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions. In Paris, we are already seeing car-burnings. Any non-Muslim action offends Islam and results in uprisings and threats, such as in Amsterdam, with opposition to Mohammed cartoons and films about Islam. Such tensions are seen daily, particularly in Muslim sections in:

    Guyana -- Muslim 10%
    India -- Muslim 13.4%
    Israel -- Muslim 16%
    Kenya -- Muslim 10%
    Russia -- Muslim 15%

After reaching 20%, nations can expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings, and the burnings of Christian churches and Jewish synagogues, such as in:

    Ethiopia -- Muslim 32.8%

At 40%, nations experience widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks, and ongoing militia warfare, such as in:

    Bosnia -- Muslim 40%
    Chad -- Muslim 53..1%
    Lebanon -- Muslim 59.7%

From 60%, nations experience unfettered persecution of non-believers of all other religions (including non-conforming Muslims), sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon, and Jizya, the tax placed on infidels, such as in:

    Albania -- Muslim 70%
    Malaysia -- Muslim 60.4%
    Qatar -- Muslim 77.5%
    Sudan -- Muslim 70%

After 80%, expect daily intimidation and violent jihad, some State-run ethnic cleansing, and even some genocide, as these nations drive out the infidels, and move toward 100% Muslim, such as has been experienced and in some ways is on-going in:

    Bangladesh -- Muslim 83%
    Egypt -- Muslim 90%
    Gaza -- Muslim 98.7%
    Indonesia -- Muslim 86.1%
    Iran -- Muslim 98%
    Iraq -- Muslim 97%
    Jordan -- Muslim 92%
    Morocco -- Muslim 98.7%
    Pakistan -- Muslim 97%
    Palestine -- Muslim 99%
    Syria -- Muslim 90%
    Tajikistan -- Muslim 90%
    Turkey -- Muslim 99.8%
United Arab Emirates -- Muslim 96%

100% will usher in the peace of 'Dar-es-Salaam' -- the Islamic House of Peace. Here there's supposed to be peace, because everybody is a Muslim, the Madrasses are the only schools, and the Koran is the only word, such as in:

    Afghanistan -- Muslim 100%
    Saudi Arabia -- Muslim 100%
    Somalia -- Muslim 100%
    Yemen -- Muslim 100%

Unfortunately, peace is never achieved, as in these 100% states the most radical Muslims intimidate and spew hatred, and satisfy their blood lust by killing less radical Muslims, for a variety of reasons.

'Before I was nine, I had learned the basic canon of Arab life. It was me against my brother; me and my brother against our father; my family against my cousins and the clan; the clan against the tribe; the tribe against the world, and all of us against the infidel. -- Leon Uris, 'The Haj'

It is important to understand that in some countries, with well under 100% Muslim populations, such as France, the minority Muslim populations live in ghettos, within which they are 100% Muslim, and within which they live by Sharia Law. The national police do not even enter these ghettos. There are no national courts, nor schools, nor non-Muslim religious facilities. In such situations, Muslims do not integrate into the community at large. The children attend madrasses. They learn only the Koran. To even associate with an infidel is a crime punishable with death. Therefore, in some areas of certain nations, Muslim Imams and extremists exercise more power than the national average would indicate."

Why do people who don't live in the US care? Slow day in Canada? It is a shame that their religion has been perverted by so many, but they need to speak out more by condemning this perversion, but more importantly, meaning it.

Ahh yes the old "we don't want people in other countries commenting on our affairs" challenge. Because as we all know Americans would never get involved in another country's business right? :)

LOL what a farce. In the last 25 years there have been a grand total of 7 people killed by attacks by anti-abortionists, the last was over 6 years ago. There is no "violent anti-abortion movement". Nobody is worried about anti-abortion violence except abortion zealots trying to stir up emotion and funding.

The Unabomber - a left wing eco-terrorist - all by himself killed 3 and injured 23. One of you left wing nuts did more than all the "violent anti-abortion" people.

And all of that does not matter anyway. The muslim "refugees" are a clear and present danger which greatly supersedes ecoterror and anti-abortion violence.

Fear can be an irrational thing and lead to irrational acts besides just rhetoric. Fear can bring on a mob mentality. Which we may be headed towards. Now let me take this in a direction that no one is thinking about and you may feel I am all wet when I bring it up. It may not apply at all as it seems we are in a religious war against extremist of one religion that has bred a stereotype for all members of that religion.

But let me retreat into history. Remember at one point America was the melting pot of the world. At least in words. When my wife who is from Thailand took her citizenship test some 20-25 years ago, she was taught that there are no hyphenated Americans. We are all Americans regardless of race, color, creed or where you came from. Since that date the melting pot if it was for real or not, perhaps just an ideal has disappeared. Hyphenization reigns. Everyone today is hyphenized except white Americans. Today we point out our differences and divisions instead of how we are alike. How we all in this nation became Americans, a united country if we were really united to begin with. The ideal reigned.

Then to add to the above we have our two major political parties emphasizing the differences, dividing us into groups and pitting one group against another in search of votes. A divide and conquer strategy. If we thought we got rid of segregation back in the 1960's we didn't. Now we have legal segregation, majority minority congressional districts. Where by government and court edict blacks must be represented by blacks, Hispanics by Hispanics, whites by whites, more division. Division is preached and mandated. Not unity. Lincoln once said "A house divided cannot stand."

It seems we as a nation are more divided today than at anytime since the civil war. My point, if today we looked upon American Muslims as just plain Americans perhaps there wouldn't be a fear about them. One shouldn't forget that there are a lot of Muslims serving in our armed forces. But there they are known as Major, Sergeant, Captain, Corporal, Specialist. They are protecting and defending this nation. They are Americans first, servicemen second and Muslim third just like any Christian serving in our military or any other religion.

One must not forget there were a bit more than 60 Muslim who died on 9-11. Many of the firemen, police and rescuers were Muslim. ISIS whom we all seem so afraid of, has killed at last count around 150,000 Muslims, that is what these people are fleeing. Now those fleeing Syria and Western Iraq have a valid reason to fear.

Perhaps over the last 20 or more years if we didn't spend so much time and effort to divide us and to hyphenize us and instead tried for unity as in melting pot, we wouldn't fear each other or treat other Americans an piranha. Perhaps all I want is to go back to when regardless of race, color, creed or where we came from, that we were nothing more, nothing less than Americans. That we unite to fight the foe that resides overseas as Americans and not blame other Americans for what those abroad do or threaten to do to us.

Actually, if you are not a US citizen, why do you care if the US accepts or reject "refugees"? This is a US internal matter. If you want to do something about the refugees, pressure your own country to take in more of them.

The melting pot model requires immigrants who want to "melt" and become Americans, and requires an America that has the social and economic capacity to handle immigrants. People who do not want to "melt" and who run counter the American way of life should not be welcome and should be kept out.

If the nation had remained unified instead of being divided and hyphenated, the unified nation would unanimously reject the Syrian "refugees". And we would not have the illegal alien problem either.

And its not both parties that have divided the nation, it "progressives" who have based their political engine on the politics of divisiveness and conflict.

So what do all these muslims that feel they are being unfairly treated plan to do about it?

They can move, or they can stop being muslims. Those are their only choices.

I think it's more to do with being seen as a threat. Muslims have shown their true colors many times now. Some may say "not all", but that doesn't really matter, any more than it matters with american blacks.

When you are seen as coming from a violent and dangerous culture, you will pay the price for that.

Asians have no problems, gays have no problems, jews have no problems, and the amish have no problems. This is because asians, gays, jews and amish are not seen as violent people.

and of course letting a bunch of angry muslim syrians in the country probably won't help change that image.

Don't forget charles manson, the puerto rican gang, and the other far left/marxist groups of the late 60s early 70s who murdered plenty. In the last 100 years, the number of people slaughtered by muslims + leftwing governments like mao and stalin DWARF by a wide margin the number killed by right wing ones.

Haven't we all seen the poll that tells us that 73% of the worlds' Mooslims want the entire world to be ruled under sharia? That's all I needed to know.

I see, so in your opinion when the IRA were bombing cities in England, 'knee-capping', kidnapping and murdering was that a problem which I had brought upon myself? I'm a Catholic too.

I'm sure that some of those you listed have violent members of their respective societies among them. It is grossly unfair and fundamentally stupid to suggest that because of some dubious passages in their holy book this somehow 'proves' that Islam is a violent faith and that every Muslim is potentially a Islamic fundamentalist lunatic.
Anyone from any society has the potential to be a killer. Just look at your crime statistics and tell us how many of your murderers are Muslims.
Let us also not forget what the Middle East has witnessed from us in the West. If you were a Libyan, Yemeni, Iraqi or Syrian how would you view the West after tons of bombs, cruise missiles and artillery had flattened your towns and killed and maimed your fellow citizens? Benign, courteous and morally principled-is that how we are trying to convince ourselves that we appear?

Like Britain did and the US is valliantly trying to follow our example? The British Empire witnessed appalling brutality and subjugation from the so-called 'Christian' West and the US is, frankly, not much different in its hegemonic ambition today. The Nazis also had a plan for global domination; that's us, the West. Should the entire Western 'culture' be held responsible for Nazism with their 'Gott Mit Uns'* slogan which they wore on their uniforms? We can pretend that we are so much better than these Islamist bastards but the unpleasant truth is that we really aren't.
