Yes. Actually the US is a Republic. But putting that aside, if it were a socialist or communist country, they couldn't afford to test that many.

It frustrates me that most of the new left leaning posters are hyper Progressives that don't really understand history.

Instead, their popular belief that the current America is "bad" will change history to bad talk the US in whatever way they can.

Kinda like saying that testing nuclear weapons makes you a bad guy like the OP is doing.

    USA - 1032
    USSR - 727
    France- 217

Of course, with the US inventing the weapon as well as being expected to protect the 'Western World', I am actuallt surprisedthe bumber is not higher.

Oh sorry, Don't want to kill narrative....

    AMERICA IS SUPER EVIL!!!!!! Better?

Tactical nukes are all the fun and rage these days but with less radiation exposure.

Neither do I know what weapon testing has to do with democracy, but it has been established years ago that our republican form of government has devolved into a plutocracy or oligarchy, whichever term you prefer.

The people don't control the government in any way, shape or form.

Corporations and special interests control the government, mostly what Ike described as the military industrial complex. I prefer to describe it as a fascist system--special interests write the laws in their favor.

    THREAD LOCKED - Rule 11

The OP failed to provide enough elaboration to establish a respectful basis of debate.
