Elections in Venezuela are held to be among the most clean in the world. Not so the US which is why the Carter Centre will not work with them.

Indeed you have refugees from countries where the US has been meddling. I was hearing them say today that if you get started on Venezuela you had better expect caravan after caravan and have the door wide open for them.

    The "cleanest elections"
It's amazing how many people vote for a govt when they
have a million percent inflation, people are fleeing and
babies are dying of malnutrition and lack of medicine.

And if America "meddles" in Venezuela (like Russia,
Cuba and China do) there will be an exodus to America.
Doesn't make sense. Why don't these people exodus to
Cuba or Russia? Why go to an oppressive, Capitalist,
sexist, homophobic and racist country like America?
    Why aren't people fleeing America?
    Please explain.

    It makes sense tha
Well the situation is a bit different from that. As you will see in the article I put in above the economic situation in Venezuela is largely deliberately created by the US.

Maduro is not desperately popular just now due to the situation but he is more popular that the opposition. The whole propaganda about there being a problem with the election comes from the fact that the majority of the 'opposition' boycotted it. If you do not believe in democracy and do not stand, that is your problem nothing to do with democracy. Now I have not checked this but I heard this morning that the idea of the Opposition boycotting the election came from the US along with other intents to claim there is something wrong with democratic institutions in Venezuela. I also heard that one very popular Opposition member did stand and was in some way punished by the US.

The support in Venezuela for Maduro is much stronger than their support from the Opposition. The support for the Government as opposed to US meddling is massive so you have a situation where the majority of the people of Venezuela are supporting the Government even when they do not like Maduro because the Opposition and the US would be worse.

The US gets involved in death squads and what not in Latin and Central America. Even if the people who leave for safety are aware this came from the US meddling which may not be so with all as many are poor villagers, but even if they did know, the US does not get involved in death squads inside the US (to date at least) rather the US language has been that it cares for the people, clearly a place to go for safety and the opportunity to build a life.

"If"? What do you mean, "if"? Let me guess, you place no blame for "a million percent inflation, people are fleeing and babies are dying of malnutrition and lack of medicine" on U.S. meddling.

There's not a lot of evidence, let alone proof, that America "meddling" has
created a South American crisis. Usually the crisis happens when socialism
and Communism meddle with people's wallets, minds and lives.
Given that Communism was responsible for the deaths of between 20-40
million Russians, 70-90 million Chinese, one third of Cambodian's population
and a few million more in Easten Europe and the Ukraine - WHY DIDN'T
AMERICA DO MORE TO STOP THIS?

    None whatsoever.
In fact, America continuing to buy Venezuelan oil and
provide them with lighter crude for blending has done
more than enough to prop up the corruption in this
    country.
Shame on America doing this for so long. They said
they "didn't want to own the problems of Venezuela."

A million innocent men, women, and children were raped, tortured, and murdered by the illegal American invasion so that the survivors could vote for an American puppet who runs CIA-created death squads ensuring their oil is sold in dollars. And you are bragging about it as though it was an act of humanitarian distinction.

That isn't true. I suggest you do some research on Elliot Abrams. However I totally accept that socialism or communism is the excuse the US gives for this tyranny. Venezuela for instances is a mixed economy and one of the mistakes which Maduro did which hurt the country was trying to follow one of the American right wing economists - the only people that helped were the rich in Venezuela but to the country in general it was a big fail. Yes, you have been up to this behaviour and it is well known if not well reported. Abrams for instance was only found guilty of lying to the US, they kept quiet about how he was involved in such activities in El Salvador, Nicaragua and other places. The US is not the only country which tries to keep such things quiet but such things have also been made known in your country. You have and have had some good investigative journalists. in this case for instance Allan Nairn. What is somewhat concerning in a country which likes to think of itself as a democracy is that this behaviour is so condoned that you are intending on letting Abrams loose on the people of Venezuela now. You do not act with the values of a democracy.

Venezuela is a country of people very angry with their previous government. Time for a change of government. Maybe it works and things get better for the common people, maybe it don't work. But change is gonna come.

He is still President. you said
This isn't the case though. The 'Opposition' has at most appeal to around 20% of the people. It belongs to many different groups. The one the US is supporting is the far right who have already been involved in mass violence.

As I said in another post, most of the people even those who do not support Maduro, support the Government in preference to the 'Opposition' and US intervention.

That does not change the reality that the US is at the moment involved in possibly the biggest theft ever and that the idea that a foreign country says who is President of a Sovereign country against the wishes of the people of that country is as far away from democracy as you can get and clearly illustrates the intent of World Dictatorship.

They are trying to steal Venezuela's resources and give it to their pimp. He and the US no doubt and the UK no doubt told the Bank of England not to give Venezuela back the gold it had invested but instead to give it to him. The Supreme Court demanded they did not give it to him. Basically the intent is to get Venezuela's resources, the biggest theft ever.

There is something very weird going on.

Sure, that’s why Maduro carted off several tons of gold to russia.
I bet when he loses power Venezuelans won’t see that gold back. I guess it will turn into a fee for his protection and living space in Russia.
Ever heard of Romanian gold? We just observed massive theft and you point your finger at the wrong guy!

Any chance of you naming the seventeen agencies and who funds them? Do they include the agencies that said they had proof of WMD's in Irak?
