Any money donated to the government will have to go to the Treasury where the only thing it can be used for is to pay down the debt. I've provided a link to that already and a few posters have told you the same but you refuse to understand it. That isn't my problem.

 

I have been dealing with an A- hat over Vietnam so have not seen what you are telling me there is.

Republicans should be able to get a change made so the funding goes to the wall. We want the wall. Safe to say you want to resist it.

The problem is ....as Joe Q Public wanting to drop off a check to the federal government for "the Wall", there are not too many options to do that.

It must be heartbreaking seeing President Trump give billions in tax cuts to corporations at the time of their record profits...and when Trump needs help, his own party and the rich folk they represent turn their backs on him.

Once again it's left to the little guy like yourself to bail out the country while the fat cats in government and business dine on steak and Lobster.

What I'm seeing in this thread are liberals who will come up with just about any reason they can which will prevent us from having border security. They say they're against a wall and would prefer a fence, so Trump comes up with a fence-like design which is similar to what was installed in NM and El Paso under Bush and Obama and now the left is against that.

The left, the same people who were against illegals when both Clintons and Obama were against them, are now in favor of open borders. The people on the left changed their positions 180 degrees for no other reason than they were told to.
