God's 'thoughts/Word' is the Bible, but not exclusively. God's Word has been given to us as well by the Prophets/Saints which came after Jesus.

Teleology directly translated means 'words about the end or finish'. Christianity is not about the 'end' or 'finish' about anything. It is to attain unity with the divine in His Kingdom, which is a different world than the one we live in. Jesus showed us how to achieve this by revealing a fuller vision of God than had been previously known. He showed us that God consists of Pure Love, and to attain unity with God we must change ourselves and become like Him, something which can't be done by simply following laws. It can only come from God Himself through His Holy Spirit.

Logical directly interpreted would be 'correct thoughts/words', so who is to tell us what the correct words are? Would it be the Fathers/Saints of the Church, who have proven themselves worthy through charitable acts and councils, or would it be you who has not proven anything to anyone?

In Christianity humility is a prequisite since it opens up one's heart and mind to God. All human pride/ego is therefore the anthesis of 'holiness'.

 

Actually the word Almah does not suggest virginity....sorry that is wrong. the Septuagint which is partly written over many centuries and by committee does not create the virginity either, in fact there are several translation errors in it as it moves from Hebrew to Greek to English in fact the line reads better

If you know Hebrew the verb is not about predicting the pregnancy.....but other than that...

Here the writer is speaking of things that happen and leave no trace behind, the eagle in the sky, a snake over rock, a ship on the high seas and the Almah with her man for if she were a virgin the blood of her first intercourse would be the trace. It is like that of an adultress who does her sin, cleans and pretends nothing happens.
