Do you expect so little from minorities that they can not and do not have the ability to obtain a simple ID card and then go register to vote and then on election day go vote? If people intend to vote they have to plan ahead and be proactive and take personal responsability.

A lot of the story around Applewhite was based on her claim that she tried for years, odd that when they made a big show of her "getting on two different city buses" (apparently a HUGE burden...) and going to the office she was able to obtain her ID card.

India requires an ID to vote, as well as just about every country on the planet. Why do people in the US value their right to vote so little that they don't want ID? It leaves the system open to voter fraud. We have widespread voter fraud, so why isn't it time to clamp down?
